Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two Giveaway

Two years ago, Disney Interactive launched something epic…a video game set in a world called Cartoon Wasteland, created for the “things that have been forgotten.” With a striking semblance to Disneyland, the game showcases a more adventurous and mischievous side of the famed Mickey Mouse.

This year, the long awaited sequel was released on multiple platforms, including a companion game called Epic Mickey: Power of Illusion for Nintendo 3DS. Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two takes also takes place in Wasteland, a world of classic and retired Disney characters and attractions. It follows the story of Oswald and other characters as they start to rebuild their world. When a series of earthquakes threaten to undo what they have started, the Mad Doctor tries to convince Oswald to join forces, but Ortensia (Oswald’s girlfried) doesn’t trust him so they bring Mickey Mouse back to help. As the title suggests, Oswald is now a supporting character and can be played by a second player.

I had a chance to play the game on multiple platforms and was incredibly drawn in to the vibrant worlds and their characters. I’ll have a full review shortly, but just know that it truly is epic!
