Weekday mornings are rushed, which means eating on-the-go has become a normal occurrence in our household. While we always make time for breakfast, we reserve weekends for elaborate dishes like omelets and homemade waffles. My children absolutely love cereal, which is a staple in our household. But very often they want something else to go along with it and that can include fresh fruit, eggs, or a cup of yogurt.
The only yogurt we eat these days is Greek Yogurt because it’s rich and creamy and filled with good-for-you nutrients like protein, calcium, and live, active cultures. Aboard the iconic Queen Mary, Ehrmann USA launched its brand new MIXIM fat-free Greek yogurt on Valentine’s Day. With it’s clever heart-shaped packaging and indulgent flavors, the brand inspired a new love for Greek Yogurt the way you like it.
I’ll admit that I can be a bit of a yogurt snob, but MIXIM did not disappoint. The brand launched with 6 palate-pleasing flavors, my favorite of which includes a combination of raspberries, white, and dark chocolate. While I typically don’t like “sweetened” yogurts, MIXIM’s unique packaging design allows yogurt-lovers the option of adding as little or as much of the two mix-ins that are paired with the yogurt.
Each serving of MIXIM fat-free Greek yogurt packs in 150-190 calories, is an excellent source of protein, and is free from artificial flavors, colors, or preservatives. I appreciate the fact that the brand uses rBST-free milk since it is not Organic. Right now, the yogurt is only available in single servings at Whole Foods Market, Vons, Pavilions, Safeway, Albertsons, and select stores throughout California, Nevada, and Arizona.
Along with sampling the brand new MIXIM yogurt, locals who attended the launch event broke the Guinness World Record attempt at the most couples feeding each other to benefit the Children’s Heart Foundation. The love-themed night was filled with music, fireworks, and a host of people who share my love for Greek Yogurt.
