Easy Photo Sharing With Kodak

Posted by Caryn Bailey Leave a Comment

Over the last year or so, I’ve become extremely passionate about photography.  It was probably meant to be, considering my father’s line of work involved photography.  With two young children who are growing and changing quickly, you’ll almost always find me with some type of camera in tow to capture their funny, adorable, and sometimes messy moments.

Digital technology has revolutionized the world of photography.  In many ways, it’s expanded how we take photos and what we do with those photos.  However, digital photography also means that many photos we take will sit on a hard drive, never to be seen again.

Kodak recently introduced an innovative way to instantly share photos with family and friends.  Their new Easyshare camera is the world’s only camera with 3-step sharing. With just the touch of a button, you can share photos and videos via email, Twitter, Facebook, Flickr, Kodak Gallery, YouTube and more.  Traditionally, if you wanted to share photos on any given social network, you’d first have to take the photo, upload it to your computer, then upload it to the site.  Kodak’s Easyshare camera makes it possible to take a photo, select a destination, and then connect the camera to the computer (or insert the SD card) for automatic uploading to your destination.

Much of my husband’s family live in the Southeast.  Photos and videos are the primary way they keep abreast of our growing, changing children.  When Kodak’s Easyshare camera is combined with their new Pulse Digital Frame, instant photo sharing is made possible without inserting an SD card.  And you don’t have to be incredibly tech savvy to use the frame. Once set up, the user will wirelessly receive pictures from friends and family.

Both of our parents are not accustomed to highly technical products.  Both the camera and the frame are relatively easy to set-up and use and allow our children’s grandparents to stay connected and up-to-date on the latest with our family.

Stay tuned as I’ll be telling you more about Kodak’s affordable photo-sharing technology.  Walmart carries Kodak’s EasyShare M532 Blue 14MP Digital Camera Bundle w/ 4x Optical Zoom, 2.7″ LCD Display for $99.00 and the Pulse 7″ Wi-Fi Digital Picture Frame for $119.98.

Disclosure: I participate in the Walmart Moms program and am compensated for my time and honest opinions.
