Easy Organization Projects With Fellowes Bankers Boxes

Posted by Caryn Bailey 25 Comments

Organization is my weakness, and one of my biggest household challenges.  When we moved into our home, I thought that I finally had enough room to put each item in its place.  I was wrong…very, very wrong. In fact, over the years I’ve made some mistakes that have resulted in a type of organized chaos only I can truly comprehend:

Mistake #1: Using our third bedroom as a “storage” area

Mistake #2: Saving papers that I thought were “important”

Mistake #3: Putting off organizing until I had the right “tools”

Mistake #4: Holding onto items (clothing, artwork, etc.) with sentimental value

The result is that it might take a village to actually tackle this Spring Organizational Project!

Organization - Before

I have been wanting my own work space for some time now, and my husband agrees that he would prefer that all my “stuff” stay housed in one place.  Thus, the idea to transform our third bedroom into an office/guest room was born. We’re nearly done painting the room, and my next task includes organizing the items I regularly use for this site. This includes press materials, camera equipment, and so much more.

Fellowes Bankers Box

I actually look forward to this time of year because I’m inspired to tackle projects such as this one for a fresh Spring beginning. Thanks to Fellowes, I’ll be sharing my best ways for tackling a home office organization project. The brand recently introduced their stylish Stackable Storage products which feature clear windows and come in a variety of sizes for most organizational needs.  Most storage boxes are drab and uninteresting, but these brighten and transform a room!

Made from 60 percent recycled content, this smartly designed system helps maximize the space in your home while keeping your items contained. When they first arrived, I immediately noticed how heavy and durable they are.  After looking at the visual step-by-step directions, I put them together without a lot of assistance.

I can already tell that these stackable storage boxes are going to help keep my items contained and out of the way for a cleaner, more organized look.  I personally love the boxes that fit under the bed…brilliant!

Later this month, I’ll show how my new work space turned out. Would you like some help with your Spring Organizational Project?  From April 7-13th, Amazon will offer a special Home Organization promotion with 15% off the everyday price of Fellowes Stackable Storage Products.

Bankers Box Contest

Additionally, you’ll have a chance to win a closet makeover with a professional organizer by submitting photos of your messiest closet on the Bankers Box Facebook page.  Five second place winners will also receive $500 in products.

We have to get all the paperwork we did not use for the taxes in some order. We also have to get the guest room in order it has other items just floating around in it.

I saw this wonder DIY project to build a cabinet that extends a table, which is perfect for my art supplies and for me to work! My art supplies are EVERYWHERE, so this would be a god-send!

My goal is to get our spare room organized, so we can find the things we’re storing in there instead of just being frustrated at all the piles of stuff.
