One of our favorite Southern California activities is our almost weekly trips to Disneyland (we’re annual passholders). The resort is a mix of tradition and innovation, and while you can count on iconic favorites like their Fireworks Show, you’ll also find something new from season to season.
Last winter, we were treated to a glimpse of The Magic, The Memories, and You! at the resort. Approximately one week ago, the show debuted with it’s a small world as the facade. Every night, guests will see a display of moving, changing photography, video, animation and music. The ten minute show is about celebrating memories, something Disneyland has been successful at for the last 55 years. Thousands of images will be displayed each night, including approximately 500 photos of guests who have made memories at the resort that day. We haven’t seen the show yet, but I can imagine how beautiful it will be to see children and adults creating memories at the resort.
Some of the highlights of the show include classic Disney music, magical effects, singing dolls from inside it’s a small world, and a finale of fireworks over the classic attraction. Some guests may spot their own photos in the show. If you have a favorite Disney memory, you can share it on the Let the Memories Begin site.

Thanks for posting about this! We are going to Disneyland in March and taking grandsons ages 8 and 2 (his first visit!) I hadn’t heard about this show. I’ll be sure we don’t miss it!

I am always impressed with what Disney has to offer. They do not hold back and that is why we are passholders too! I guess, we just cannot get enough. But, it is also nice being able to go and spend a few hours before meltdowns. Usually, when we want to see any of the night shows, we go later in the evening.
