WICKED was the musical that cemented my love for this beautiful, theatrical art form. Hailed as the best musical of the decade by Entertainment Weekly, the show won over 100 international awards including a Grammy and 3 Tony Awards as well as receiving numerous accolades across the globe. This Winter, WICKED the Musical returns to the Segerstrom Center for the Arts for a 3 1/2 week run with evening and matinee performances February 9th through March 6th, 2022.

Wicked
The untold story of the Wicked Witch of the West and her unlikely friendship with Glinda the Good is compelling, connecting audiences who loved the Wizard of Oz with an insightful look at who these women were before Dorothy’s arrival. Elphaba (the Wicked Witch of the West), who was born with emerald-green skin, is smart, fiery, and unsurprisingly misunderstood. Glinda is beautiful, popular, and ambitious, and their differences are exactly what draws them to each other as friends. The musical is based on the novel by Gregory Maguire and features music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz.

Wicked performances at the Segerstrom Center for the Arts are as follows:
February 9 to March 6, 2022
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday Evenings at 7:30 p.m.
Saturday at 2:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
Sunday at 1:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
Special Thursday matinee February 10 at 2:00 pm,
Single tickets for WICKED start at $ $44.75 and are available online at SCFTA.org, at the Box Office at 600 Town Center Drive in Costa Mesa, or via phone (714) 556-2787. A limited number of tickets can also be purchased on Goldstar.

Wicked Luncheon at the Silver Trumpet Restaurant and Bar
To celebrate the opening of Wicked at Segerstrom Center for the Arts, the Silver Trumpet Restaurant and Bar will present a special Wicked-themed, three-course, prix fixe luncheon on Thursday, February 10th at 12:00 pm prior to the 2 pm matinee performance. Guests can also add the restaurant’s exclusive Wicked-themed cocktail or mocktail to their luncheon. Reservations can be made online and will be limited to the first 50 guests.
$45 per person
