On Friday July 9th,the animated, 3-D film Despicable Me opens in theaters nationwide. The film stars Steve Carell, Miranda Cosgrove, Jason Segel, Russell Brand, and Julie Andrews. Since I’ve yet to see the film, here is a brief synopsis from the site:
In a happy suburban neighborhood surrounded by white picket fences with flowering rose bushes, sits a black house with a dead lawn. Unbeknownst to the neighbors, hidden beneath this home is a vast secret hideout. Surrounded by a small army of minions, we discover Gru, planning the biggest heist in the history of the world. He is going to steal the moon. (Yes, the moon!) Gru delights in all things wicked. Armed with his arsenal of shrink rays, freeze rays, and battle-ready vehicles for land and air, he vanquishes all who stand in his way. Until the day he encounters the immense will of three little orphaned girls who look at him and see something that no one else has ever seen: a potential Dad. The world’s greatest villain has just met his greatest challenge: three little girls named Margo, Edith and Agnes.

I’ve seen the movie and have to say it’s gonna top the box office!!!! Loved it!!! our fav is the little girls in the movie as well as the minions!!

We would love to see the movie but would be SO excited to have the prize pack. The children can’t wait to see Gru, whom they think is not as bad/evil as he thinks he is. Also we love the Statue of Liberty joke, especially since we have seen the statue of liberty that is in El Monte,CA.

Not only mine but everyone’s family will surely love this movie. The trailer is funny and cute. The thing which excites me the most is Where the Gru, the evil villain getting his minions to do all his publicity work and trying to
steal historic places. From the trailer, even the children looks funny. I gotta say – IT’S SO FLUFFY!!!!!! lol, i want to see the movie for that scene alone. that little girl is SO adorable. [email protected]
