Up until about a month ago, I spent a pretty penny on fancy lattes and mochas. I couldn’t go more than a couple of days without my frou frou coffee drinks. Thanks to my daughter, I’ve recently curbed by coffee habit because of her spitting up and reflux. But one day…one day soon…I’ll get my morning cup of joe!
While my husband prefers freshly ground coffee, brewed in a French Press, I am content to use my Senseo coffee machine because it’s a quick and easy way for me to get a cup of coffee. Before I stopped drinking coffee, I had an opportunity to try Melitta One’s One Parisian Cafe Universal Coffee Pods from Coffee For Less. With the amount of money my husband and I were spending on coffee, we could have invested in a college fund for our children. Those trips to the coffee shop are less frequent these days.
Coffee For Less is an online coffee retailer specializing in Keurig K-Cups, Whole Coffee Beans and Gourmet Coffees. You don’t have to spend a lot of money at Starbucks or Tully’s to get gourmet coffee. Coffee For Less offers coffee pods, ground coffee, hot chocolate, and tea from well-known brands like Gloria Jeans (one of my favorites!), Green Mountain Coffee, and Melitta Coffee.
I could easily spend over $3 on ONE cup of coffee (which I won’t be doing!). I was amazed at how many product choices were available on the site and how reasonable the prices are. For example, this 18-count box of coffee pods retails for $4.95. I honestly think their best prices are on their coffee pods and K-cups.
My husband and I had an opportunity to try Melitta One’s One Parisian Cafe Universal Coffee Pods. I was surprised at how good the coffee tasted and even more surprised my husband readily drinks it in the morning (considering he’s a bit of a coffee snob). This blend is a smooth dark roast..the kind of coffee my husband likes. I actually prefer a bit of a sweeter coffee like many of the Gloria Jeans’ blends.
