I love to try new things, which you’ve probably gathered if you’ve browsed the site. While I have my repertoire of brands that I remain loyal to, I’m always open to new products that make my life easier as a mom. I read a lot to try to be knowledgeable and on the forefront of innovative products for our family. And very often, I’ll see something new and want to try it, but wonder if it’s worth the investment.
Over the weekend, I was introduced to Citrus Lane, a mom-created subscription box company that brings the best products to parents and their children. Every month, subscribers receive a new themed box filled with mom-tested and recommended products, delivered right to their homes. Each box, which contains 4-5 age-specific products, is just $25 including shipping. While the target audience is babies and tots 0-3 years of age, products are carefully chosen for their longevity and use beyond the specified age range.
Citrus Lane was created by a mom with a desire to help parents discover innovative products, share information, ask questions and find inspiration. What makes the company unique is the fact that each product is recommended and reviewed by their advisory board and community comprised of parents rather than placed inside because of payment. I also learned that there is an emphasis on including earth-friendly products.

In preparation for the school season, Citrus Lane’s back-to-school themed box included a Skip Hop Lunch Bag, a food storage container from Innobaby, Andy Warhol’s Colors Board Book, a Plum Organics snack, and a DP (de-pee) Stain & Odor Remover (for moms). This particular box is practical since it includes items a preschooler or even a young school-aged child (like my son) would get excited about and use. I appreciate the fact that each box contains one item for moms.

During the “Mommy and Me Tea,” Angela Kinsey was named the celebrity ambassador for Citrus Lane. The Office star will work with the company to create limited edition preschool gift boxes for the holidays.
Citrus Lane’s monthly themed boxes can be gifted and subscriptions are available in 3, 6, and 12 month packages.

My kids love receiving a monthly subscription box in the mail just for them. It is exciting and something they look forward to! I will have to check out Citrus Lane, this is the first time hearing of them.

That lunch bag looks so cute! The items in the box seem very helpful, fun, and like something any preschooler would love.
