Chuck E. Cheese’s Redefines It’s Traditional Pizza Recipe *Giveaway*

Posted by Caryn Bailey 276 Comments

This giveaway is now closed. Congrats to the winners: McKim, Kimberly Meier, Trisha Lynn, & Jennifer T!

Earlier this year, Chuck E. Cheese’s tested out their brand new pizza recipe right here in Southern California. This local test was initiated to see how it’s customers would respond to the recipe which had not been changed in 30 years.  You may remember that despite the fact that my son has food allergies, we took both of our kids to the place “where a kid can be a kid” for the very first time earlier this spring.  While he did not try the pizza, the hubby, my daughter and I did and were actually quite impressed  with the “cheesier, crispier, tastier” pizza which features fresh-made dough, zesty pizza sauce, and 100% natural mozzarella cheese.  I prefer a soft crust on my pizza which is exactly how the venue makes it.  It wasn’t greasy and the veggies were abundant, fresh and flavorful.

We’ve tried the pizza and now I would love for some of you to try it out and let us know what you think.

Win It! FOUR of you will win a family pack which includes one large pizza (any kind), 4 drinks and 30 tokens.  Simply leave me a comment with your best memory at Chuck E. Cheese’s.  Comments will close on October 2nd, 2011 at 11:59 PM PST.

US Residents only.  Duplicates and comments not including the above information will be disqualified. Comments are moderated. If you don’t see your comment in a reasonable amount of time, send me an email. Bloggers and non-bloggers may enter. Please note that winners must respond within 48 hours of being announced/contacted or another winner will be drawn.

I remember going with my mother, my younger sister and my son. We were all playing whack a mole, and laughing. What I didn’t realize is the whole restaurant was watching us. When we stopped, a woman said it was really nice to see a family all together and having fun.

It was a family tradition after each of our 5 children were Baptized at the age of 8 years old we would take the family and extended family to Chuckie E. Cheese. That was 18 to 24 years ago and Chuckie E. Cheese was a little different then it is today.

That’s so easy. My best memory of Chuck E. Cheese’s was my seventh birthday. My big brother came, right before he left to join the Navy. He passed away 2 years ago and it’s one of the few pictures I still have of the two of us together.

We have lots of memories from Chuck E. Cheese! My son has chosen to celebrate his birthday there every year since he was 2. He’s 8 now. 🙂 Our fondest memories are when my dad would take/go with us. He loved taking the kids there because they had so much fun. He is gone now and we cherish those memories.

We just recently celebrated my niece’s birthday at chucky cheeses, so seeing all the cousins enjoying playing & having a great time, makes that my favorite memory.

It’s been years since I have been to Chuck E. Cheese, and it wasn’t a pleasant memory. It involved my two-year-old in the ball pit. Let’s just say the ball pit had to be vacated and my son completely washed down from an incident that occurred before my son went in! 🙁

My 7th Birthday, I found myself blindfolded and being led by my father into an unknown place. He removed the blindfold and I was immediately greeted by screams laughter, smiles and hugs from every direction. Through the crowd, I spied a GORGEOUS Smurfette cake that seemed HUGE pizzas, games and a bunch of bouncy balls in a cage!!!. What a great memory, all these years later I still remember my feelings perfectly….every kid needs a surprise party at chuck e cheese!

    My best memories:
When I was a child I remember dancing up front when the bears were playing their music, it was then called Showbiz Pizza! I loved going and remember several friends bday parties that I attended as a child.

My best memory was when we got to take our own children. Our first time was when my son turned 3, he had spent several months recovering from an epidural hematoma that he got from a head first fall off of a bunk bed. He had to wear a foam helmet for several months while his skull fused back together since the surgeons had removed and then put back a portion to drain the blood that had accumulated on his brain almost killing him. He had wanted to go for his birthday so badly, we had little money but wanted to make it special as a celebration for him still being here with us so we took what little extra money we had and played as many games as possible. He LOVED it and I will never forget that smile and twinkle in his eyes. I love my boy and this year he turns 6, we would love to take him again. Of course his older sister and younger brother would love to go too!

My favorite memory was the last time we went to there. My daughter was so happy to pull into the parking lot! Chuck E. Cheese is her favorite place on Earth!

I’ve only been to Chuck E. Cheese a couple of times, but my strongest memory is going with my best friend and her son. He was about six at the time and now he is a freshman in college. I would love to take my nieces and nephews there now.

My best memory would be standing up at the front of the dinner room watching the band play, I always loved the bear! I find that the few times I have brought my kids here, I feel all excited again about the band playing, how cheesy ha!

my best cec memory is when our family would play tournaments with their coin operated games. we would all take turns at each game: basketball, ski ball, the egg game, the bee game, etc and see who could get the best score. we always enjoyed watching each other play the games and it didn’t matter who had the best score really because we all had fun playing the games. clallen at ntin dot net

My favorite memory was when we went to Chuck E Cheese the first time. My son really loved deal or no deal at the time so he was super excited to find the video game there and spent a whole bunch of the time playing again and again. He even got the top prize once or twice 🙂

My best memory of Chuck E Cheese’s is this amazingly HUGE ball pit they had here, it was so huge that when my daughter was 3 she jumped in an disappeared lol! This was a serious ball pit and everyone loved it but they had to remove it cause it got really disgusting and dirty 🙁
