Celebrate Valentine’s Day Aboard The Love Boat at The Queen Mary (Free)

If you’re local and looking for something to do this Valentine’s Day, you’re in a for a special treat! The iconic Queen Mary will be transformed into a Love Boat this Friday, February 14th in honor of the holiday.

Last month, Ehrmann (a family-owned national dairy company) introduced MIXIM, a new type of Greek Yogurt packaged in a heart-shaped container and paired with two toppings to elevate your yogurt experience. To celebrate the debut of MIXIM, they’ll host a FREE Valentine’s Day Event complete with music, yogurt samples, fireworks, and the opportunity to win prizes.

Here are the details for Friday’s exciting love-themed event:

What: MIXIM Love Boat at The Queen Mary. Activities include the World’s Largest Hug Relay (Guinness World Record Attempt), Most Couples Simultaneously Feeding Each Other (Guinness World Record Attempt), free concert by Don’t Stop Believin’ Journey tribute band, and a Valentine’s Day Fireworks Show

When:  Friday, February 14th, 2014 from 5 pm to 10 pm

Cost: Free. Simply RSVP on MIXIM’s Facebook Page and mention the code MIXIM LOVE at the door.

Giving Back: I respect those companies that give back, particularly to organizations that benefit children.  This Valentine’s Day, Ehrmann will donate $20,o00 to the Children’s Heart Foundation to help those affected by congenital heart disease.

How can you help? During the event, simply upload an image to one of your social media accounts and use the hashtag #MIXIMLOVE and Ehrmann will donate an additional $1 to the foundation up to a total contribution of $25,000.

In honor of Valentine’s Day and the launch of MIXIM, Ehrmann is also hosting a Year of Love sweepstakes where you can win a night out each month plus a year’s supply of MIXIM yogurt (ARV $2500) or one of 10 $100 Visa Gift Cards.  Simply visit their Facebook page to enter.
