How is it possible that the coffee lover in me had no idea that this weekend was dedicated to one of my very favorite drink? National Coffee Day is this Sunday, September 29th, and to celebrate, a number of popular coffee shops and retailers will offer free or discounted caffeine fixes! Since you probably haven’t had your coffee yet, I’ve gone ahead and put together a list of my personal favorites. Enjoy!
The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf: If you’re in the LA or Orange County area, you’ll want to head over to Angel Stadium of Anaheim for their 2nd annual Trade Up Your Cup Event. From 8 am to 2 pm, CBTL will exchange any electric coffeemaker with a cord for a brand new CBTL Americano Machine (ARV $149.95). Plus the first 250 people will also receive the CBTL Milk Frother. Head on over early as CBTL will serve endless amounts of coffee from 6 am to 8 am! All machines collected at the event will be donated to Goodwill Enterprises.
Starbucks: Participating stores will offer a free taste of their new Ethiopian coffee.
Peet’s Coffee & Tea: Enjoy a free small Maple Latte with the purchase of an Artisan Baked Good or Simply Oatmeal from 10 am to 2 pm. You’ll need to print this coupon to get your free coffee.
Krispy Kreme: Participating stores will offer a free 12 ounce cup of coffee all day!
Keurig: The brand is hosting a National Coffee Day Photo Contest on their Facebook page and the prize is a year supply of Keurig Brewed Beverages.
What is your favorite coffee shop in Southern California? I’d love to hear your recommendations as I’ll be putting together a list of favorites soon!
