Did you know that today is Brothers and Sisters Day? I had no idea! The day was created to celebrate that special bond between siblings.
In anticipation of Dreamworks’ latest film, People Like Us, Sprinkles has teamed up to celebrate family by hosting a series of events leading up to the film’s June 29th release date. Just visit any of the ten Sprinkles locations across the country on one of the five designated family-friendly holidays and whisper “People Like Us” to receive a free cupcake. You can also visit the store to receive a punch card redeemable for a free cupcake on the following designated holidays.
May 2nd – Brothers and Sisters Day
May 13th – Mother’s Day
May 18th – Visit Your Relatives Day
June 17th – Father’s Day
June 16th – National Forgiveness Day
Additionally, you can go online to vote for the official “People Like Us” flavor. Be sure to visit the film’s Facebook page to keep up to date with the latest on the film and enter to win a trip to visit your family.
People Like Us is a Dreamworks film inspired by true events and follows the story of Sam, a salesman who is called home after learning his father has died. It is during his time at home that he finds out that he has a sister who he never knew about. The film is about family and from what I’ve heard, it’s full of raw emotion.

As if I needed another reason to love Sprinkles. MAN is the timing of these giveaways terrible on a personal note with a two month weight loss challenge in front of me!
