The holiday season is upon us, one of my favorite times of the year. Very soon, I’ll begin pulling out our decor to ready our home for friends and family. For now, I’ll enjoy the holiday magic that will soon transform the Disneyland Resort.
Next week both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park will feature a merriment of holiday activities which I’ll tell you more about in the coming weeks. And once again, the resort will hold it’s Candlelight Ceremony and Processional which will be held at Town Square on Main Street at Disneyland Park. There will be 20 dates and each night, a celebrity narrator accompanied by a choir of over 600 singers and the Disneyland Orchestra will tell the story of the first Christmas.
Here are the dates and the celebrity narrators that will tell the story each night (2 performances per evening):
- December 3, 4, 5: Kurt Russell
- December 6, 7, 8: Edward James Olmos
- December 9, 10, 11: Lou Diamond Phillips
- December 12, 13: Dick Van Dyke
- December 14: Marcia Gay Harden
- December 15, 16: Patricia Heaton
- December 17, 18, 19: Molly Ringwald
- December 20: Dennis Haysbert
