My Monday started out almost like any other, save a trip to Vegas by way of trains, planes and automobiles (I wish I were joking). After a very hurried morning which included me packing at the last possible moment, my husband dropped me off to catch the Metrolink train. I finally sat down for the 2 hour trip and began checking emails.
“Hey hon! Can you call me as soon as you have a moment? I have something exciting to ask you. : ) ”
I had no idea that when my friend Erika meant exciting…she meant EXCITING! I’ve lived in Southern California my whole life and have never even managed to get close to the Golden Globes, so when she asked me to go with her as her guest, I had to pause for a moment to take it in. This is where the best in television and film are honored!
Diet Pepsi is launching a new ad during the Golden Globes this Sunday featuring Sofia Vergara, who is once again nominated for her role in Modern Family. Vergara has worked with the brand for the past three years, and through the new “Love Every Sip” campaign, she proves that every sip of Diet Pepsi is a chance to show off your best, fun-loving self. I love the theme of this new campaign which encourages all of us to enjoy a “bubbly” time out and truly enjoy every sip of life…from the big occasions (like going to the Golden Globes!) to the everyday moments like snuggling with my children in the mornings.
In the first TV Spot, Sofia gives an impromptu toast at a wedding, but instead of raising a glass to the new couple, she toasts with her favorite diet soda (her second TV spot will air later this year). You can see the new ad this Sunday, January 13th, 2013 during the Golden Globes.
Along with a new ad comes a new can! The new updated signature globe logo will feature a heart design, perfectly timed for Valentine’s Day and set to hit shelves on January 27th.
