15 Minute Breakfast Skillet Meals

Posted by Caryn Bailey Leave a Comment

The new school year blindsided us! We went from swimming and splashing at our local water park to homework and soccer practice. We’re not even two weeks into the new school year, and I can guarantee you that my kids have already had breakfast “on the go” at least twice. Getting accustomed to the schedule has been a transition process for all of us, and despite my best laid breakfast plans, sometimes cereal in the name of sanity prevails. Perhaps that is why the idea of breakfast in 15 minutes resonated with me. Omaha Steaks recently debuted their Butcher’s Breakfasts, perfectly timed for the new school year, and I can tell you that these kid-approved meals are going to save you this season!

Omaha Steaks

Omaha Steaks has a long history of providing quality USDA-approved, grain-fed beef, seafood, pork, and poultry. Additionally, the brand offers side dishes, appetizers, meals, and desserts to help families get dinner on the table. I personally love the convenience of being able to order online and have their meats and seafood delivered to my home. However, Omaha Steaks also operates several stores throughout the country.

Butcher’s Breakfasts

Breakfast has long been recognized as the most important meal of the day. Children, in particular, benefit from a healthy, hearty morning meal as they approach the school day. Anyone with school-aged children recognizes the challenges that come with getting everyone out of the house on time for school. And admittedly, I’ve resorted to cereal, milk, and fruit when pressed for time.

Skillet Breakfast Hash

In an effort to provide families with a hearty breakfast solution, Omaha Steaks introduced their Butcher’s Breakfasts. These skillet meals can be prepared from the freezer to the table in 15 minutes or less. At present, their are three varieties including the following:

  • Meat Lover’s: This meal features a trio of flavorful pork favorites including lean pork sausage, all-natural ham, and uncured bacon, plus roasted red potatoes, peppers, and onions in a perfectly seasoned gravy.
  • Chorizo & Sweet Potato Hash: All-natural chorizo sausage (spicy pork sausage) is made with paprika and chiles and served with with sweet potato, red peppers and onions.
  • Ranchero Steak & Beans: Perfectly seasoned steak and savory uncured bacon are served with a blend of chilies, tomatoes, veggies, and spices.

Skillet Eggs and Hash

Along with featuring natural meats, these meals are free from artificial ingredients.

Each of the skillet meals feeds two…unless you have a growing tween boy who eats the entire meal and then asks for more. The meal is easily prepared on a skillet with a touch of cooking oil and can be served with eggs. Each of the meals include sauces that are to be added to the dish while cooking. I appreciate the fact that the sauces are packaged separately to allow for individual preference when it comes to the amount desired.

The cost of each meal varies, depending on how many you order and can be as low as $6.49 per meal. The skillet meals are available online and at Omaha Steaks retail stores throughout the country.
