No compensation was received for this post.  Media tickets provided.

Despite the 100+ degree temperatures we’ve been experiencing here in Southern California, our stores are already outfitted with Halloween costumes, pumpkins, ghosts and goblins.  Fall is just a few days away, and over the next several weeks I’ll have the 411 on the hippest places to celebrate this spooktacular season in Southern California.

 Super Hero Rock Wall

Beginning October 3rd, Belmont Park will undergo a spooky transformation in the second annual BooMONT Park Fall Festival and Haunt.  This boo-tastic, month-long event will feature free trick-or-treating, costume contests, the Boomont Manor (a family-friendly haunted house), Zombie Laser Tag, a pumpkin patch with painting, a superhero Zip Line & Rock Wall, and a Spooky Coaster (formerly the Giant Dipper).

 Boomont Park Pumpkin Patch

Boomont Park is the work of the creators of San Diego’s most iconic haunts including The Haunted Hotel, The Haunted Trail of Balboa Park, and The Scream Zone who transformed Belmont Park into a Halloween-themed beachfront amusement park.   Here are all of the details you’ll need for this family-friendly haunt.
