Community, support, and information are some of the reasons people seek out blogs. Kristen, from Cool Mom Picks, The Parent Bloggers Network, and Motherhood Uncensored has initiated Blog the Recession for the month of August. Her daughter was recently diagnosed and it would be wonderful if you went over and showed your support with a kind word or donation. Diabetes is increasingly becoming an epidemic in this country and I encourage you to read more about it at the American Diabetic Association and the Juvenvile Diabetes Research Foundation International.
