Over the weekend, my husband and I went out for the very rare date night. I put on heels and makeup…he shaved and donned a nice shirt. We ate a leisurely meal, lingered over coffee and dessert, and stayed out past our bedtime. It was awesome. I love dressing up and spending more than just a few minutes applying makeup.
It’s important to me to look nice, not just for my husband but for myself and makeup is an important part of that. This Thursday, I’ll be participating in a LiveStream Blogger Conference with Bare Escentuals to introduce their new SPF 20 Ready Foundation. What’s intriguing about the foundation is that, according to the company, it doesn’t look or feel like foundation. I’m excited to try it out since I typically prefer a more natural look.
During the event, Leslie Blodgett (Creator of bareMinerals) will introduce the new Ready Foundation and celebrity makeup artist Fiona Stiles will discuss some of the top trends of the season and offer red-carpet inspired looks. There will also be giveaways throughout the event!
