Baby Egg Nests by The Baby Bunch

One of my favorite baby shower gift ideas comes from a company called The Baby Bunch.  Last month I showed you their incredible Baby Bunch Bouquets.  The founders set out to create “a beautiful gift that appeared exciting and unusual upon first glance yet offered parents’ functional pieces such as onesies, hats and bibs that they would need to help them through the first few months of their newborn’s life.”  As I mentioned in my previous review, I could see their bunches used as centerpieces or decor accents for a baby shower.  They truly are that incredible.

Their Baby Egg Nests are about to “hatch” (giggle) this Easter!  The Egg Nests feature three pairs of organic cotton socks in both blue and pink rolled to look like eggs and include a lavender-scented mother bird sachet  Here is a bit more information from the site:

Build a nest egg with this darling baby girl gift! Each organic Baby Egg Nest is wrapped in cellophane, tied with a ribbon and bears a bird shaped gift tag.

Again, I was very impressed with the presentation of their Baby Egg Nests.  The socks themselves are soft (since they’re organic cotton) and roomy (they fit babies 0-6 months of age).  I put the sachet in my dresser drawer and I am keeping the little baskets to reuse at another time (I’m thinking about putting the eggs we colored over the weekend in these baskets).  The Baby Egg Nests could also be used as party favors or gifts for guests attending a baby shower.

Each Baby Egg Nest retails for $19.95 and is available for purchase on the site (in both pink and blue).  While the price seems to be a bit high, consider the fact that the socks are organic cotton, the presentation makes for a lovely display, and the gift is truly unique.
