Mariah Carey Talks All I Want For Christmas Is You + Free Printables

It is the day after Halloween and we are decorating Gingerbread Houses in “Grandma Lucy’s Cookie Kitchen”…of course. Because that’s how we do November here in Southern California. After we played in the “snow” and loaded our hot chocolate with candy canes from Mariah’s Cocoa and Coffee Cafe, we sat down for Grandpa Bill’s Movie Marathon where we watched the soon-to-be-released film All I Want for Christmas Is You. Inspired by Mariah Carey’s iconic Christmas song and her illustrated book by the same name, All I Want For Christmas is You is a delightful story that will warm your hearts this holiday season.

All I Want for Christmas Is You

Over 20 years ago, Mariah Carey released the single All I Want for Christmas is You, a song that last year was still the most streamed holiday single, topping Billboard’s Holiday 100 at #1 for four weeks. The single has also sold over 14 million copies. In 2015, Carey published her critically acclaimed book by the same name.

The story follows little Mariah, who sets her sights on an adorable puppy named Princess at the pet store. Before her Christmas wish of bringing Princess home can come true, she must prove that she can dog-sit Jack, aka the worst dog ever. As Jack upends her family’s holiday preparations, Mariah begins to realize that this is not the Christmas she wished for…but everything she ever wanted.

All I want For Christmas Is You is narrated and produced by Mariah Carey and features Carey’s iconic song, Miss You Most (At Christmas Time) and Christmas Time is In The Air. The film includes Breanna Yde as little Mariah, Henry Winkler as Grandpa Bill, Lacey Chabert as Mariahs’ mother Penelope and Phil Morris as Mariah’s father Bud.
