Adventures by Disney Introduces Lights, Camera, Magic! A Southern California Adventure

Posted by Caryn Bailey 2 Comments

We keep moving forward, opening new doors, and doing new things, because we’re curious and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.
-Walt Disney

So much of Walt Disney’s life and  accomplishments originated in Los Angeles and the surrounding vicinity.  Earlier this summer, Disney California Adventure Park was re-dedicated to introduce the opening of Buena Vista Street and Cars Land. Now, for the very first time, visitors to the Disneyland Resort can step back in time to the 1920’s and get an authentic feel for Los Angeles as Walt saw it.

Adventures by Disney

Because Los Angeles is so integral to Disney’s history, and very often visitors to the resort want to see the city of stars and lights, Adventures by Disney introduced Lights, Camera Magic! This one day guided adventure includes a visit to Hollywood, Beverly Hills, and an exclusive tour of the Walt Disney Studios.

Adventures by Disney offers unique, location-specific experiences where guests become active participants in the stories and cultures of that city.  During the one day guided adventure, families will visit The Dolby Theatre or Grauman’s Chinese Theatre, see some of the most famous landmarks along the Sunset Strip including Chateau Marmont, shop and gnosh at the Farmers Market and The Grove, and go behind the scenes at The Walt Disney Studios.  The tour concludes with a special reception in Legends Plaza where many Disney animators, songwriters, actors, and Imagineers have been honored. The studio is not open to the public, which makes this tour so special

This full day tour begins and ends at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa and includes transportation, appetizers/snacks, beverages (including one alcoholic beverage), VIP access, and surprises throughout the day.  If you are an annual passholder, be sure to inquire about special pricing.

The tour can be arranged by calling (866) 363-4763 or visiting Adventures by Disney.
