In less than 2 weeks, The LEGO Movie will debut in theaters nationwide and for LEGO enthusiasts like my son, February 7th can’t come soon enough. We’ve been anticipating the release of this film since we saw the first trailer, and as the first full-length theatrical LEGO adventure, it’s certain to be a cinematic success. In this original story, Emmet (voiced by Chris Pratt) is just your ordinary, rule-following minifigure. When he is mistakenly identified as the most extraordinary person in the LEGO universe, he is enlisted into a fellowship of strangers to embark on an epic quest to stop an evil tyrant bent on destroying their world.
Filled with action and debuting in 3D, this computer-animated comedy will feature an amazing lineup of talented actors, including Will Ferrell, Elizabeth Banks, Will Arnett, Liam Neeson, Morgan Freeman, Channing Tatum, and Cobie Smulders. Along with seeing your favorite LEGO characters come to life on screen, the film will introduce several new characters and showcase the incredibly detailed and visually stunning world of LEGOS in a way audiences have not experienced before.
