Every year, my husband and I make it a point to get an annual physical exam. Yet for many people living in the US, preventive medical care is more complicated than a phone call to their family physician. Topping the list of the ten leading causes of death in the US are heart disease, stroke, and diabetes, all of which are preventable.
This Saturday, March 26th, CVS is offering $150 worth of health screenings through their A Su Salud event in Los Angeles. Individuals will be screened for diabetes, blood pressure, cholesterol, bone density and vision. Here are the specific details of this weekend’s event:
