My father loved roller coasters. In fact, there was very little he feared, so when he took me up and upside down for the very first time on Montezooma’s Revenge, I was nervous, but not fearful. He inspired my love for adventure and thrills and always encouraged me not to be afraid…to try new things…to live life.

When I visit Knott’s Berry Farm, I think about my father and the memories we made there together. Over the years, the park has undergone many a change, but perhaps the most exciting is yet to come. On May 25th, 2013, Knott’s Boardwalk will re-open with three brand new attractions, which will further immerse guests in the colorful California Boardwalk Fun Zone. Here is a quick overview of each ride:

Coast Rider: The most thrilling of the new rides, Coast Rider will take guests up 52 feet for an exciting journey down 1,339 feet of track filled with hairpin turns, twists, and spins.

Surfside Glider: You are in control in this two-man aircraft which offers sprawling views of the Boardwalk Bay.

Pacific Scrambler: This traditional, family favorite will have everyone spinning and squealing with delight.
Don’t you love how each of the new rides have titles consistent with the California Boardwalk theme?
Summer at Knott’s Berry Farm is going to be exciting as the park debuts new food options and entertainment. And, Timber Mountain Log Ride, one of our favorites, will re-open just in time for hot summer days!
The 5-month refurbishment and restoration project will add new scenes and characters to the ride as well as upgrading all of the ride figures and sets.

As the most popular ride in the park, guests can rest assured that the original theming and storyline of the Timber Mountain Log Ride will remain unchanged.
