A Giveaway To Help You Out With That Date Night!

Posted by Caryn Bailey 138 Comments

This giveaway is now closed.  Thanks for stopping by.  The winner is Cheryl.  Congrats!

My husband and I rarely have a date night.  And I’m not saying that to complain.  We could have a date night every week if we wanted, but that would involve hiring a babysitter and spending money we probably don’t need to spend right now.  So most nights hubby and I put our little boy to bed, then sit downstairs and talk or watch TV or brainstorm about what we want to do next with our lives!

M&SlogoI remember when my husband and I were dating…we would eat out all the time.  We tend to be foodies…we like unique, quality restaurants with superb food.  Now, our eating out is limited (unless of course he’s out of town!).  But one of the restaurants we really enjoy eating at is McCormick & Schmick’s.  I’ve been eating there with my family since I was a little girl.  My dad gave me seafood before I saw my second birthday.

Moms…McCormick & Schmick’s recognizes that it’s important for us to take time for ourselves.  Unfortunately, eating out costs money.  Job uncertainty and economic insecurity make all of us a little nervous and extremely careful with how we spend our money.

ReelToReelLOGO-175x140For the duration of the summer (and while supplies last), you’ll receive an unrestricted movie ticket for $5.00 when you purchase any dinner entree (please note this is not valid with the $10 lunch specials).  I’m not sure if you’ve seen the prices of movies lately but you can’t even get into a matinee for that price!  And…right now you’ll find 10 lunch entrees for $10 or under!

Head on over to the site to enter to win a trip to the 2010 Sundance Film Festival with the McCormick & Schmick’s Reel to Reel Sweepstakes.  You could win airfare and hotel for two to Park City, Utah and VIP passes to party with the stars at Sundance.

Win It! One of you will win a $25.00 dining certificate to help you recession-proof your romance this summer!  Simply head on over to the site and take a look around.  Come back here and leave me a comment with a meal that looks good to you!  I am craving the Grilled Halibut with Dijon Mustard and Smoked Honey Butter.  Comments will close on August 29, 2009 at 10 PM PST.  One comment per person, please (unless you do the extra credit). US residents only. Duplicates and comments not including the above information will be disqualified. Comments are moderated. If you don’t see your comment in a reasonable amount of time, send me an email. Bloggers and non-bloggers may enter. If you don’t want to leave your email address, please be sure to check back for my announcement on the winner. Please note that winners must respond within 48 hours of being announced/contacted or another winner will be drawn.

Want an extra entry? Do any or all of the following and receive an extra entry for each one.

Be sure to leave me a separate comment for each additional entry.

My husband and I like to go to lunch for some of our “dates” (we find it is a little less expensive). One of the items I think looks delicious is the Oregon Bay Shrimp & Angel Hair Pasta
(Fresh Bay Shrimp, Broccoli & Sun Dried Tomatoes) on the Lunch Menu. Thanks for the review and giveaway!
