I stood inside Wilderness Dance Hall at Knott’s Berry Farm as people hugged and staged photos of the latest Boysenberry creations and realized that things finally feel normal. After a 2-year hiatus due to COVID-19, Knott’s Boysenberry Festival is back, complete with live music, local crafters, themed activities, and some of the most creative Boysenberry dishes to date. With one extra week to enjoy all things Boysenberry, you do not want to miss this year’s festival celebrating the berry that started it all. Additionally, this year’s Boysenberry Festival Guide includes an expansive selection of vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free menu items.

Knott’s Boysenberry Festival

Knott’s Boysenberry Festival is the theme park’s annual food festival celebrating the boysenberry that started it all. The highlight of this springtime event is a mouthwatering menu of sweet and savory items inspired by the boysenberry dreamed up by the culinary team at Knott’s Berry Farm. Additionally, families will enjoy local crafters, live music, musical stage show, and more. This year, Knott’s Boysenberry Festival runs through April 24, 2022.

Boysenberry Festival Craft Fair

I absolutely love that Knott’s Berry Farm brings in local craft vendors to showcase their artisan products. Each of the 30 craft vendors will feature its own unique boysenberry-themed items.

Old MacDonald’s Barn

Be sure to stop by the barn where you’ll find Knott’s very own animal residents including horses, sheep, goats, and more.

Tied up in Knott’s

One of Knott’s unique, and often overlooked attractions is their local art collection. Housed inside the Factory Store, you’ll find original art from over 35 local artists created to celebrate Knott’s Berry Farm’s rich history. Select pieces and prints are available for sale.

History of the Boysenberry

Cool off in Town Hall where you’ll learn about the history of the boysenberry that served as the park’s iconic origin.

Boysenberry Lane

Be sure to head to Boysenberry Lane for games (with a guaranteed prize), a photo opp (be sure to be on the lookout for character sightings), craft booths, and the boysenberry plant nursery where you can purchase and take home your very own boysenberry plant. Boysenberry Lane also features one of Knott’s tasting card booths and table seating to enjoy your favorite boysenberry eats and treats.

Boysenberry Pie Eating Contest

One of the highlights of Knott’s Boysenberry Festival is their Boysenberry Pie Eating Contest. Located at the Calico Mine Stage, families can also enjoy family-friendly games and activities with the Knott’s team.

Snoopy’s Boysenberry Jamboree

Families can sing and dance with the Peanuts Gang at the Calico Mine Stage. Join Snoopy and Charlie Brown in this interactive musical stage show.

Riverboat Revenge

This year, Knott’s introduced a brand new stage show at the legendary Bird Cage Theatre. This comedy-melodrama pays tribute to its past as the crew embarks on a berry fun adventure.

K-NOT Radio

The hottest radios station has taken up residence on the Boardwalk, and each season the DJs put on a themed show complete with groovy tunes and cheeky chatter.

Boysenberry Blues

After you’ve grabbed your favorite barbecue, pull up a chair and be lulled by the smoothest tunes, performed at the Boardwalk BBQ patio.

Knott’s Totally Tubular ’80s Dance Party

When the sun goes down, the park lights up with the return of this totally tubular ’80s dance party. Dance the night away to your favorites including the decade’s best songs.

Before You Go – Knott’s Boysenberry Festival

The best way to experience the most varied selection of boysenberry eats and treats at Knott’s Berry Farm is to purchase a tasting card. You will receive six tastings (from a selection of 25) for $50 and you can use the tasting card throughout Boysenberry Festival. If you are a season pass holder, you can purchase the tasting card for $45.

Bring Knott’s Boysenberry Festival home with you or share it with someone who cannot attend Knott’s Boysenberry Festival in a Box. With over 75 unique boysenberry-inspired creations, you can choose 4 items for $39.99 and 5 items for $49.99. The park has a build-your-own gift box station located in Ghost Town at the front of the park. If you are unable to get to the park, you can order a box at home which will include a real tasting card, select Boysenberry Jam, Boysenberry Ketchup, Boysenberry Curd, Boysenberry Balsamic Grilling Glaze, Boysenberry Brownie Cookie, Boysenberry Pepper Bacon Spread, Boysenberry Ice Tea for $49.99.
