Every Christmas, our family celebrates the season with Merry Christmas Snoopy, an ice spectacular that culminates with the Peanuts characters sharing the true meaning of the season. The show is warm and nostalgic, but it was only recently that I learned of its significance to Knott’s Berry Farm. An ice show featuring Snoopy was ultimately what compelled Charles Schulz’s son to agree to allow the Peanuts gang to officially become part of the Knott’s family. Camp Snoopy was born in the summer of 1983, and as the one of the most popular areas at Knott’s, it seemed fitting to add the Peanuts Celebration to the parks regular Seasons of Fun. Knott’s Peanuts Celebration runs through March 1st, and in honor of this incredible tribute to the Peanuts family, I’m sharing all of the ways to celebrate, including our favorite foods! Be sure to scroll down for our Knott’s Peanuts Celebration Dining Guide.

Knott’s Peanuts Celebration
One summer, I spent an afternoon at the Charles M. Schulz museum in Santa Rosa, California, and caught a glimpse of Schulz’s inspiration for America’s beloved Peanuts characters. Sunday mornings, my father and I would read the comics, and the Peanuts specials were some of his favorites to watch, so visiting the museum was filled with nostalgia and reminiscence over my childhood.
And while I encourage a visit to the legendary museum if you are ever visiting NorCal, you can step inside the world of Charles M. Schulz this season at Knott’s Berry Farm. Knott’s Peanuts Celebration pays tribute to the iconic Peanuts gang with family-friendly activities throughout the park. Enjoy new Peanuts-inspired décor, engaging photo opps, including our favorite comic strip backdrops, live shows, commemorative merchandise, and brand new, Peanuts-themed food offerings.
Knott’s Peanuts Celebration Dining Guide
There is a shirt I once saw during Knott’s Boysenberry Festival that said, “I’m just here for the food.” Over the past few years, the chefs at Knott’s have completely transformed their menus across the park. The park has its origins in the boysenberry and Mrs. Knott’s Chicken Dinners, and I love that each season, Knott’s incorporates fresh, seasonally-inspired foods into their celebrations. And while most days, I cannot leave the park without indulging on one of their boysenberry treats, Knott’s has so much to offer in the way of experiences for families…including the food!
To celebrate the famed Peanuts characters, the culinary team at Knott’s dreamed up these incredible eats and treats, all of which have some tie to Snoopy and the gang. Here is your Knott’s Peanuts Celebration Dining Guide, complete with meal plan-eligible items.
