I still remember playing Clue, Monopoly, Candyland, Life, and so many others with my mom as a child. Games are educational, fun, and interactive. Hasbro has just launched Noodleboro, a new line of games designed to teach children social skills such as listening, sharing, and manners. Each game comes with a book for storytime (which relates to the theme of the game) and an audio CD which includes a story and silly songs from Noodleboro’s all-kid radio station! I love that the games engage a variety of children’s senses…they see and touch the games and book…they hear the stories and songs. Grab some related snacks and you’ve got all five covered!
The Learning to Listen Pizza Palace Game helps children focus on listening and paying attention by correctly filling the most pizza orders. The game even comes with pizza boxes and mini plastic/cardboard pizzas which provide some realism to the concepts presented. The two other games in the series include Learning to Share Fun Park Game and Learning About Manners Picnic Basket Game. The series is designed for preschoolers ages 4 and up and retail for $19.99-$24.99.
