Concert Beauty Essentials

I distinctly remember my first concert…the band was New Kids on the Block and I was a fan-girl in the truest sense of the word. I even had a screen-printed pillow of the band, proof of my loyalty. Twenty some odd years later and I still have a deeply ingrained love for music, even if my preference in genre has changed.

In just one week, Noel Torres, Adriel Favela, Jonatan Sanchez and Helen Ochoa will perform in Los Angeles at the Belasco Theater as part of Univision’s 2016 Premios Juventud VIP Tour with Unilever. This private concert is one of 3 leading up to the 2016 Premios Juventud Awards Show and includes performances by leading Latin music stars and past Premios Juventud nominees/winners. 

If you’ve ever attended a concert, you’ve often dressed up for the occasion. I personally prefer anything that glimmers, shimmers or sparkles. But in addition to looking concert-fabulous, I have a few must-have concert items:

1. Ballet flats. You might be surprised at how long you’ll be standing for a concert, even with a designated seat. The energy is always vibrant and I personally want to be on my feet, singing, dancing, and enjoying my favorite band. Sneak a pair of these into your purse if you just can’t continue a second longer in your wedges.
2. A compact purse. Avoid being weighed down by a heavy purse, particularly when you’ll be in one place for several hours. I like to bring a purse that is stylish and roomy enough for essentials like my wallet, lipstick, cell phone and keys.
3. Degree Women’s Deodorant (Motionsense Shower Clean). If you’ve been immersed inside a concert, you’ve grasped how hot and sweaty the venue can get. Toss a deodorant into your purse to make sure you feel fresh throughout the concert.
