Awesome Kids’ Stocking Stuffer Ideas Under $10 + 7 Last Minute Gifts Under $30

The last minute Holiday Shopping Rush has begun and if you’re feeling the time crunch, you’re not alone! Fortunately, during my shopping ventures this past week, I was able to finish all of my shopping without having to run around from store to store.  Despite the busyness of the season, I didn’t find my local Walmart stores to be uncomfortably crowded, and since their Checkout Promise is in full-effect, I was able to get in and out relatively quickly. The shelves are stocked with an abundance of items, but what I’ve found most surprising is that their selection of toys and holiday gifts is still generously expansive.

Stockings for Kids

With just a few days left until Christmas, you can pick up some pretty awesome last minute gifts without going over your set budget. If you head over to the Holiday section at your local Walmart, you’ll find gifts sorted by price including $1, $3, and $5 items, many of which would make awesome kids’ stocking stuffers! I always wait until the last minute to gather small gifts to place in my childrens’ stockings and I have to admit that I was pretty impressed with what I was able to put together. Each of my kids’ stockings will be filled with the following items and the total price before tax was just $11.50!

Stocking Stuffers For Boys

Stocking Stuffers For Girls

  1. Life Saver’s Candy Book $2.50
  2. Christmas Sock Monkey with Peppermint Candy Canes $3
  3. Christmas Whoppers $1
  4. Christmas Tic Tacs $1
  5. Lip Gloss $1
  6. Hand Sanitizer $1
  7. Bathtub Drops $1
  8. Bath Fizzie Ornament $1

From personal care items to small toys and treats, my kids’ stockings are PACKED and I honestly can’t believe how much I was able to purchase for around $12 per child. Additional ideas for kids could include licensed soaps and lotions, small toys, hat/glove sets (many of which start at just $5), and gift cards.

While the selection of kid-friendly gift ideas in Walmart’s Holiday section is generous, I found a TON of gift ideas including body care gift sets, tea, coffee, & hot cocoa gift sets, fragrance gift sets, and baking gift sets. Personally, I love when a handful of related items are arranged together in a gift box because it makes it easy to gift something thoughtful and creative without spending a lot of time or effort searching and putting together these gifts.

Last Minute Gifts

In addition to the above gift sets, here are 7 last-minute gift ideas under $30:

Small Electronics ($2+)
