On-the-Go Snacking With Stonyfield Organic Yogurt Pouches

Posted by Caryn Bailey Leave a Comment

I participated in a Blogger Activation on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Stonyfield. I received coupons to facilitate my shopping trip and a promotional item to thank me for participating.

Fostering healthy eating habits within my children is a daily battle.  While my husband and I persisted in exposing them to real foods like fresh fruit, vegetables, lean meats, and whole grains as babies, their exposure to the alternative at school and through advertising constantly requires us to take a firm stand. Perhaps the most challenging battle we face is snack time.  With the number of packaged, processed foods that are so abundant in our culture, it’s refreshing to see companies like Stonyfield commit to offering families a wholesome alternative that still caters to an on-the-go lifestyle.

Stonyfield Organic Yogurt Pouches

Stonyfield recently introduced the very first refrigerated organic yogurt pouch, perfect for families looking for a quick, convenient, portable snack. We are very particular about the dairy we purchase, and I am loving Stonyfield’s commitment to offering products free from GMOs, artificial hormones, antibiotics, or pesticides. Made from organic milk, these on-the-go yogurt pouches are free from high fructose corn syrup and artificial ingredients.

Stonyfield organic yogurt pouches are available for babies (YoBaby), toddlers (YoToddler), and kids (YoKids) and each product in these specific lines was developed based on the needs and developmental stages of children in each age range. For example, both the YoBaby and YoToddler lines include fruit and vegetable yogurt blends to shape children’s taste preferences for veggies early on.

We picked up a couple of each flavor, although admittedly these organic yogurt pouches were difficult to find.  I visited 3 different stores in my area to find the 5 flavors we eventually purchased.  While they are easily located in the refrigerator section, I think they are so new that stores are continuing to roll them out on shelves.  I’m hoping to see additional flavors on our store shelves soon.

On the Go Snack

My daughter absolutely loved the Strawberry Beet Berry yogurt, which admittedly I enjoyed as well.  I didn’t find these yogurt pouches to be overly sweet with each serving containing between 11 and 14 grams of sugar. As a convenient, portable, snack, I appreciate that my kids can get in protein, probiotics, and some of their daily need for calcium and Vitamin D.

Stonyfield Organic Yogurt Pouches

We have been a fan of Stonyfield for years and are loving these new portable organic yogurt pouches.  While you’ll likely find them in both conventional grocery stores and all-natural markets, be sure to use their store locator if you’re looking for a specific flavor.
