While it’s been a bit quiet around here the last week (Rockin’ Mama is about to get a brand new look!), I’m excited to begin sharing with you a host of recipes and crafts to celebrate my favorite time of year. Food is integral to our holiday celebrations and if you’ve had an opportunity to check out some of the recipes here on the site, you know that I’m passionate about eating wholesome foods with a gourmet twist!
Over the last year, I’ve tried to highlight a fruit a month, incorporating each one into a recipe I’ve created for my family. Mangoes are a favorite in our house and we’ve used them for smoothies, homemade sorbets and salsas! Because there are at least 6 major varieties, you’ll likely be able to find at least one of them throughout the year.
I personally love to challenge myself and incorporate foods into dishes in non-traditional ways which is why I’m excited to be co-hosting a Twitter Party with The Motherhood and The National Mango Board on Tuesday, November 12th at 1 pm EST.
