Food and Wine for a cause? I’m totally in! In just a few weeks, San Diego’s “wildest” animal park will open it’s cages doors to guests for an evening filled with live music, dancing, food & wine tastings, animal encounters, a silent auction and so much more. This is the 33rd celebration presented at the zoo, conceived to support the San Diego Zoo Institute for Conservation Research. Here is a brief overview of what you can expect at San Diego’s “wildest” tasting event!
What: Join 3,000 locals and visitors on a wild culinary adventure for a cause.
When: Saturday, September 21st, 2013
Where: San Diego Zoo, 2920 Zoo Dr, San Diego, CA 92101
Cost: General admission is $90 per person. Early admission allows entrance into the event at 6:30 pm plus complimentary Skyfari rides ($150 per person). VIP tickets include an exclusive pre-party VIP experience at 5:30 pm with specialty drinks, appetizers, entertainment and up-close animal encounters ($300 per person). Note that prices will increase after September 7th, 2013 so be sure to get your tickets soon!
