As a child, summer was all about spending as much time in the water as possible. Southern California summers can be intense, with a majority of our over 90 degree weather occurring in August. Perfectly timed for our end-of-summer heat wave comes a new water play area at Boomers Irvine, which just opened this week.
Boomers is a family entertainment center with locations across the country. Activities include Go Karts, Miniature Golf, Bumper Cars, Batting Cages, Laser Tag, a Rock Wall and so much more. Buccanner Cove will be located between the miniature golf courses and go kart tracks and features five levels of family water play including water slides, wet water tunnels, interactive aqua domes, spray cannons, spray loops, cylinder spray fountains, and a large splash bucket located at the top of the structure. Parents can relax in the lounge chairs or rent one of the center’s semi-private cabanas.
Admission to Buccaneer Cove is just $19.99 and Boomers will also offer Season Passes and other specials throughout the year. I highly recommend becoming a Facebook fan as the center often posts fan specials. Right now, save $4 off the price of admission when you order tickets online. Buccaneer Cove is also available for birthday parties and right now, the birthday child is free when a party is booked online.
We’re heading to Buccaneer Cove this afternoon for a sneak peek and can’t wait to share all of the aquatic fun with you!
