Part of my love for iconic characters like Curious George stems from my childhood. I have fond memories of watching the adorably mischievous monkey with my father, and sometimes it baffles my mind that I’m now watching these shows with my children. Based on a series of children’s books written by Hans Augusto Rey and Margret Rey, they follow the adventures of George, a curious monkey brought from his home in Africa by The Man with the Yellow Hat to live with him in the city. The show airs on PBS and teaches children math and science, which is one of many compelling reasons to love the show.
Totsy just launched their Curious George Boutique, which includes all of the original storybooks, toys, games, apparel, rugs, hats, decor and more. With savings of up to 59% off retail, shoppers can find fantastic deals on their favorite Curious George-inspired products.
Tomorrow, April 17th, 2013, I’ll be co-hosting a Twitter Party with Curious George and Totsy to celebrate the launch of the boutique. We’ll talk about the show and our favorite memories, and of course, there will be prizes.
