Safety 1st, Cosco, and Eddie Bauer Baby Launch New Website Giveaway

As an expectant mom, I found it challenging to sift through the wealth of information at my disposal. I had Parenting magazines, books, and literature from my obstetrician’s office to read. And then there was the unending amount of information available around the clock online. I remember longing for a single place I could go to find everything I needed for our baby, particularly when it came to necessities.

The Dorel Juvenile Group, which is comprised of Safety 1st, Cosco, and Eddie Bauer Baby, recently redesigned their website to make it easier for parents to find what they are looking for. The goal of the redesign was to offer consumers an enhanced online shopping experience by offering seamless navigation and expanded safety and product education. Parents can easily locate information on what products are best for their children and how to use them safely.

So what can you expect from the new site?

Product Comparison: Shoppers can now compare products to help with decision-making

Quick Info: This option offers a quick overview of a product without having to click on a new page.

Wish List: This “wish list” of products can be stored for a later purchase or shared with friends and family members.

Photo and Video Demos: This allows for full view of the product and a tutorial.

Social Media: The product, tools, and advice pages allow for sharing across social media channels including Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest.

I personally like the site’s new toolbar at the top of the page, which makes it very easy to find exactly what I’m looking for. The three brands are listed at the top (for visibility) and each of the three sites mirror each other as far as content, including the Tools & Advice section. Overall, the site has a clean, fresh feel to it.

To celebrate the launch of the new site, Dorel Juvenile Group is hosting an “Ask Our Expert” series this week on the Safety 1st Facebook page. Each day, they’ll focus on a product category such as car seats or child care. Parents are encouraged to ask Julie Vallese (Consumer Safety Expert) questions regarding safety who will be available to offer helpful advice. Questions can be submitted on their Facebook wall. Here is the schedule for the week’s event:

Tuesday, November 13: Car Seats
Wednesday, November 14: Strollers
Thursday, November 15: Home & Travel Safety
Friday, November 16: Child Care
