When I was a little girl, my parents used to take me to our local mall on Halloween to trick or treat. It wasn’t that we lived in an unsafe area, but rather, my parents preferred a more well-lit, trafficked area with treats that had been provided by a venue versus the neighbor down the street.
As we get closer to Halloween, Simon Malls across the country will host free, kid-friendly events in conjunction with their Kidgits program. The Kidgits is a club families can join at their local Simon Mall for just $5 a year. Membership includes special mall offers and discounts, interactive events throughout the year, a birthday gift and more. Many Simon Malls also offer a Kidgits open air play area.
This October, families can visit their local Simon Mall for this free event which includes the following:
- Trick-or-Treat Bags compliments of The Hub
- Frightfully fun activities & crafts
- Kid-friendly, spooky themed episodes from The Hub’s TV Network
- A free KRE-O TRANSFORMERS BUMBLEBEE building set and coupon!
- Giveaways, coupons and more!
- Special Halloween goody for members

I love Simon malls! We usually go to the Laguna Hills one. I still have video of my kid’s first Halloween there. So much fun.
