Dear Tollhouse:
After finally deciding to get my sorry, sickly self out of bed, I decided to do something therapeutic and bake some of your oh-so-famous, all-American, one-of-a kind chocolate chip cookies. Your recipe has been a favorite of mine since my wee-childhood days. After dropping the 20th rounded tablespoon of moist, morsel-filled dough on my ungreased baking sheet as directed, I looked into my empty KitchenAid mixer with disappointment. Now, I understand the principle of diminishing returns… but dipping my hand in the proverbial cookie dough jar does not negate 40 cookies. Dear cookie guru, how small do my cookies have to be to yield the 5 dozen promised to me in your recipe?
Sincerely,
Gipped
