Having lived in Los Angeles my entire life, I’m always amazed when I happen upon a new activity or destination. Yesterday, we explored our inner artist at Zimmerpalooza, a celebration of the arts presented by the Zimmer Children’s Museum. The charity event was held at the Annenberg Community Beach House, which is the only public beach club in the US. Built in the 1920’s on the former Marion Davies Estate, the Beach House was restored after sustaining damage from the 1994 Northridge earthquake. While the Beach house is often used for events and weddings, it is free and open to the public when not in use. I was so impressed by the history and beauty that was preserved during the restoration. Here are a few photos I snapped at the property.

What a fancy house on the beach! It’s my dream to live in a colonial white house with black shutters some day. Some day!! 🙂
