A visit with Santa has always been a tradition in both or our families, so it only seemed natural that we would start the same tradition with our own children. Who would have thought though, that both of my children, at various points in their lives, would actually be afraid of the genteel man with a beard?
This year, for the very first time, both of my children were excited about their visit with Santa. We headed over to The Shops at Mission Viejo earlier this week, right before lunch time. This was such a perfect time to visit because the lines were short and we were able to get our visit in and photos taken in less than 30 minutes. Each mall is set up a bit differently with regards to visits and photos with Santa, and the one at The Shops at Mission Viejo does not disappoint with it’s gorgeous Christmas tree and fireplace backdrop. Adjacent to photos with Santa is a coloring area which I highly recommend if there is a line. You can visit with Santa on the lower level of the mall near Nordstrom through December 24th. And for a list of holiday entertainment, just visit the website.

Oh, they are gorgeous photos! Absolutely perfect for grandparents… I know I would love to get one if I was gramma!
They both look so festive in their outfits and I cannot believe how big your daughter has gotten, and how beautiful she is. Of course your so is as handsome as ever, not to mention a perfect big brother – just look at the way she looks up to him.
Thanks for sharing, this post warmed my heart and put a smile on my face. HUGGELS!
