In the coming weeks, we’ll likely be planning a family trip to see my in-laws, an annual tradition which always seems to fall right in the midst of football season. Many of my husband’s family members are serious Auburn fans, and very often you’ll find them seated and mesmerized by the game on Saturdays during the season. My children may be the only kids I know this side of the Mississippi who have Auburn t-shirts, sweatshirts, hats, socks, and more.
To celebrate tailgating season, I thought I’d pay homage to my husband’s family alma mater, Auburn University, and their infamous football team called the Tigers. If you live in the Southeastern part of the US, you’ll likely find an expansive collection of Auburn Tigers items including this cozy sweatshirt my son is sporting.
I was actually quite surprised at how many items, in general, are available for fans. Walmart‘s selection, both in-stores and online, is quite large and encompassing and there are items for adults and children. Along with the Auburn sweatshirt, we picked up a mini football by Wilson, so that my son and the hubby can toss it around together in the backyard.
Walmart has an incredibly large and diverse selection of items to help you celebrate the football season! And stay tuned as I have a yummy recipe to share with you for your upcoming tailgate party.
