This week brands and bloggers come together in Los Angeles for Hispanicize, the 2nd Annual Hispanic PR & Social Media Conference. As a Latina woman involved in social media, I’m looking forward to attending and furthering my professional development. Sessions will focus on brand-blogger relationships, monetization, SEO, best practices in social media, and the unique attributes and trends of this community.
This three-day conference will provide opportunities for professional development and networking and features nearly two dozen sessions. The keynote speakers include Oscar Nominated Actor Edward James Olmos, Javier Farfan, Director of Cultural Marketing for Pepsico, Rosanna Fiske, CEO and Chair of the 20,000-member Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), Rick Wion, Social Media Director for McDonald’s Corporation, and Rick Najera, renowned comedian and screenwriter.
Personally, I’m very excited about the sessions led by prominent bloggers in our community including Jennifer James, Piera Jolly, Yvonne Condes, Monique Frausto, and Rory Lassanske.
