Last week, PBS Kids began airing brand new episodes of the Parents’ Choice Recommended TV series Dinosaur Train. Coincidentally, it timed out perfectly with dinosaur week at my son’s preschool. Not only did he tell me all about the names of the dinosaurs he learned, he proceeded to roar around the house in his new Dinosaur Train Striped Footed Pajamas.
Children adore dressing up and pretend play. My son in particular enjoys wearing t-shirts, socks, and underwear with his favorite characters on them so you can imagine how excited he was to wear his prehistoric PJs. The striped, footed pajamas are sold exclusively at Kohl’s and feature dinosaur appliques. Their fleece-like design makes them perfect for winter (which I keep forgetting we’re in the midst of ).

Dinosaur Train “embraces and celebrates the fascination that preschoolers have with both dinosaurs and trains.” As a parent, I find the show educational and entertaining. I appreciate the effort to encourage basic scientific thinking skills.
