If you ask anyone close to me, they might say that I am addicted like coffee..a lot! But I’m picky when it comes to my coffee. I like lattes and mochas, particularly around this time of year when all of the coffee shops bring back their holiday drinks. All of those frou frou drinks can add up to a large monthly coffee bill! Which is why making coffee at home just makes sense (and cents!).
These days, both my husband and I are getting are caffeine fix with NESCAFÉ’s new Dolce Gusto Circolo machine. I’ve written a lot about our affinity towards modern home design. The machine (which I’ll talk in depth about in a subsequent post) is ultra-modern and “the most stylist of the bunch.” I had a choice between their four brand new machines, and opted for this one because it works really well with our kitchen motif. In fact, the machine won the International Forum Design Award & Red Dot Design honorable mention for it’s unique, futuristic style.
While there are many appliances I use and put away, a coffee machine is one that sits on my counter every single day. It’s sleek design makes it a fashion statement for my kitchen. And because the Circolo machine is compact, it can fit on my counter without taking up a lot of space.
One of the things I thought about when I received the machine was the fact that it is a single serve machine. In our household, this works well because my husband and I drink different coffee drinks. He is much less of a frilly coffee drinker. It also works well for us because my husband would often make a pot of coffee, fill up his cup and throw the rest away. Now we can both decrease the amount of coffee waste!
So…how does the machine work? What does the coffee taste like? Stay tuned! I’ll answer the above and more in my next post.
I wrote this review while participating in a test drive campaign by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of NESCAFÉ Dolce Gusto and received a coffee machine to facilitate my review
