Get In Shape Girl: Flirty Girl Fitness

Posted by Caryn Bailey 6 Comments

Squeezing in a workout between trips to the park, playdates, laundry, work, and blogging is always a challenge.  I have to admit that most days I get more exercise running after my son or up and down the stairs than I do at the gym.  I am always looking for fun ways to work out and if I can exercise home that’s even better!

Flirty Girl Fitness is a complete exercise and meal plan designed to inspire women to “unleash their inner diva, embrace their bodies, and have a fabulous time while they work out.”  Most home DVD exercise programs make me want to yawn.  I usually turn them off before I break a sweat.  The Flirty Girl Fitnessprogram consists of various dance routines (and a few “props”) that make you WANT to work out.  I have to admit that when I saw some of the titles I couldn’t help but laugh.  Booty Beat, Just Teasing, Pole Dancing, and Chair Dancing almost seem like routines a mom should not be participating in.  But I started thinking about the fact that although I’m a mom, I’m also a woman.  I can’t say that I would do these workouts outside the comfort of my own home but that’s not the point of the program (thankfully!).  I received theTeaser Collection which included 4 workout programs, a super cute pink feather boa, the Flirty, Fit Fabulous booklet complete with meal plans and a shopping list in a pink keepsake box.

I used to dance when I was younger so I really enjoyed working out with Booty Beat.  The moves are not difficult and the explanations and demonstrations will have you shaking your tail feather in no time!  I was surprised at how much of a workout I was able to attain just by doing some of the programs.  The site has a complete page dedicated to testimonials from women who have lost as much as 30 pounds and 44 inches with consistent participation in the workout programs.  They even guarantee that you’ll see results in 10 days.

Flirty Girl Fitness was created by two sisters, Kerry and Krista Knee and began as a fitness and lifestyle facility in Toronto designed solely for women.  They have an additional location in Chicago.

I’ve ordered these exercise dvd’s and I can’t wait to get them. I love to dance, so I figure this will be a workout that I will WANT to do. I’m very excited about them and I just hope they work as well as the site says they will.

I know about the shipping. I sent for mine January 5th and I called and called them. They won’t be shipping mine for at least another week to two weeks. If I had not already paid, I would cancel my order. They didn’t even send me some kind of email to tell me that it was on back order due to a large demand of the product. It wasn’t until I called and told them (after 3 weeks of course) that it was inconsiderate to not let their customers know this information. The next day I got an email telling me that it was back ordered…go figure. I hope it is worth it by the time I get it. I hope I love it because it was a lot of money to wait this long.

    IT IS A RIP OFF!
I odered only the $ 9.99 price, and hit some wrong buttons because the recorder was automatic, and confusing, and my total came up to $ 53.32 !
I called them up and They said to casll the next day because it wasnt processed yet. so when I called, They said I cant cancel my order, so now I have to wait for it to be shipped, and then return it back. i lost $20.00 on shipping only!
there’s lots of little things they dont tell you, so DOnt order from them! smart way to do it is go to ebay.
