5 Ways to Celebrate Beauty and the Beast at Disneyland

Posted by Caryn Bailey Leave a Comment

{Consideration provided by the Disneyland Resort}

One of the most thoughtful gifts I’ve received from a studio was a crimson rose from Luxe Bloom. The company partnered with Disney’s Beauty and the Beast to create a collection that celebrates the film’s iconic enchanted rose. The film is one of our favorites, inspiring a deeper appreciation for inner beauty and compelling a look beyond the surface. To celebrate the release of Disney’s re-imagined, live-action film, the Disneyland Resort is inviting families to “be our guest” in a series of enchanting experiences.

The Village Haus Restaurant in Fantasyland has been re-imagined into the Red Rose Taverne and features a brand new menu inspired by Beauty and the Beast.

Along with serving up a delicious Grey Stuff Gâteau, you’ll find the Beast’s Burger, an Enchanted Cauli-Flower Sandwich, Chicken Sandwich à la Lumière, and a Garden Mozzarella Flatbread. Each room in the French Tavern highlights a different chapter in the story through wall paintings, decor, crimson drapery and intricate stained glass.

  • Take a photo with Belle and Gaston. Meet the infamous characters from Beauty and the Beast as they stroll throughout Fantasyland. You can also find Belle at certain times inside Royal Hall and strolling through Fantasy Faire after her performances at the Royal Theatre

  • Enjoy a comedic, re-imagined live performance of Beauty and the Beast. Underneath the open-air tent located at Fantasy Faire, you’ll find the talented thespian duo Mr. Smythe and Mr. Jones, retelling Disney’s classic stories with a comical twist. The Royal Theatre alternates presentations of Beauty and the Beast and Tangled and features the duo along with a handful of characters from Disney’s original classics. Both of the shows fuse Disney’s creative storytelling with humor so that audiences experience these stories in a fresh, new way.
