Postpartum Comfort From Earth Mama Angel Baby

March 13, 2010

Having a baby is unlike any other experience.  Nothing else on earth compares to the overwhelming joy and intense love that overcomes you.  However, the physical act of delivering a baby, regardless of the method, is awkward, painful, and messy.  If it weren’t for complete and utter amnesia, I may not have endeavored to repeat the experience.

When my son was born, I knew my incision would be painful.  I knew that my body would shed what had been stored up for over 9 months.  But I was not prepared for the discomfort I would experience in the early days of breastfeeding.  There were nights where I would cry because the pain of latching my son was so severe.  I struggled with engorgement, plugged ducts, and multiple bouts of mastitis.

While I’ve yet to experience plugged ducts or mastitis, I have had my share of discomfort while nursing my daughter.  Earth Mama Angel Baby offers a line of all-natural breastfeeding products to help ease some of the discomfort.  Regardless of how easily a baby latches, I believe that some discomfort is inevitable.  Since I don’t like the sticky nature of lanolin, I usually dont use anything to ease the soreness.  Earth Mama Angel Baby offers a Natural Nipple Butter that feels nothing like lanolin and works just as well (if not better).  The company offers the first organic, all-natural, plant-based balm, designed to soothe sore nipples.  It’s made with organic calendula, cocoa butter, shea butter, and mango butter and feels incredibly rich and smooth (unilke lanolin which is very sticky).  It’s safe for moms and babies so it doesn’t have to be washed off before nursing.

I really like the texture.  It’s not sticky and rubs in very well.   The Natural Nipple Butter does a great job of providing relief for sore, irritated nipples.  It doesn’t have an odor and my daughter never even noticed I had it on (I’m not currently using it any more because I’m no longer experiencing soreness).  Right now I’m using it on her body after baths for massage.

I am so glad I have yet to experience a plugged duct or an episode of mastitis this time around.  I had an oversupply of milk with my son, which I believe was the result of excessive pumping.  This time around I did things differently.  While the first several I experienced a lot of discomfort from engorgement, my body has finally started to regulate itself and I’m no longer waking up engorged.

Earth Mama Angel Baby offers Booby Tubes, natural gel-free breast packs made with a 100% organic cotton shell and filled with all-natural flax seed.  They can be used warm or cold, but I always prefer heat when I’m engorged.  They’re easy to use (either put them in the freezer or the microwave) and effective at relieving engorgement when heated (I have never used them cold).  Heat can help maintain open milk ducts, encourage milk to flow, promote let-down and provide comfort during episodes of engorgement or mastitis.  I like to use them several minutes before I nurse or pump.  When used cold, they can help reduce swelling and tenderness associated with engorgement.

Earth Mama Angel Baby also offers Bosom Buddies, designed to ease the symptoms of engorgement, clogged milk ducts, and sore, cracked nipples.  I haven not tried this yet, but I would definitely consider it if warranted.

Earth Mama Angel Baby’s Postpartum Recovery line includes products designed for women who have had either a natural or casearean delivery.  Their C-Mama Healing Salve is amazing.  My incision became infected this time around and I ended up on antibiotics to clear it up.  I used the salve at the same time and felt like it helped ease the external discomfort at the incision site.  The C-Mama Healing Salve includes Vitamin C, essential fatty acids and amino acids to help with wound repair.  I’m actually still using this since it can be used on wounds, scars, stretch marks, rashes, and burns.  Be sure to check out the company’s entire Postpartum Recovery line for product designed to ease the discomfort from a natural birth.

Earth Mama Angel Baby recently introduced their Happy Mama Body Wash.  Stay tuned for my review coming soon!  Now through March 16th, you’ll receive a bottle free with the purchase of their Mama’s Pregnancy Essentials Kit.

Earth Mama Angel Baby is unique in many ways.  The company “uses the highest-quality, certified-organic or organically grown herbs and oils for [their] teas, bath herbs, gentle handmade soaps, salves, lotions and massage oils.”   Their products are “100% toxin-free, cruelty-free, vegan, and free from all artificial preservatives, fragrances and dyes.”  I appreciate their transparency with regards to the ingredients in their products and their view on pregnancy as a life stage (as opposed to an illness) aligns with my own.  Earth Mama Angel Baby is also green on the inside and the outside.  Their packaging is derived from eco-friendly recyclable or reused/resuseable materials.

Getting My Pre-Pregnancy Shape Back With Shrinkx Hips

February 20, 2010

I just passed the 8 week post-partum/post-c section mark and am ready to get serious about getting my pre-pregnancy body back (at least some version of it).  I’ve used (and continue to use) body shapers to help provide additional support and give my body some grace as it returns back to a version of it’s former self.  But I’ve yet to see a product that will help you get your pre pregnancy hips back…until Shrinkx Hips by Upspring Baby.

During pregnancy, a hormone called relaxin loosens pelvic joints and ligaments in preparation for childbirth.  The result is a widening of the hips.  And I know I experienced this flattering phenomena because by the end of this last pregnancy, I could barely fit into my maternity jeans.  When I read about this product that could help put me back together, I readily agreed to give it the full 8 weeks to try out.  Here is a bit more information about Shrinkx Hips from the site:

[Shrinkx Hips] provides constant, even pressure to gently guide your hips back to their pre-pregnancy position.

I received this when I was about 3 weeks post-partum/post c section and immediately wore it when I could, for as long as I could.  Initially, I couldn’t wear it as long as I wanted to because I was still having incisional pain.  It was mostly uncomfortable when I was sitting down.  However, I gradually became accustomed to wearing it and found the level of compression that felt comfortable.  Eventually I felt like it helped give me a bit of support for the incision, although that isn’t one of the stated benefits.

In order to get the most use out of this product, it has to be worn within the first 8 weeks of delivery when Relaxin is still present in your body.  If you are breastfeeding, the hormone will stay present for that amount of time. Shrinkx Hips is easy to use.  You simply velcro it around your hips and adjust the level of compression.  It’s made from Nylon and Spandex which makes it relatively comfortable.  You can (and should) wear this under your clothing, but you’ll need a longer shirt to hide it.

According to the site, 95% of women returned to their pre-pregnancy hip size after using Shrinkx Hips.  If I would have thought about it, I would have measured before and after.  The only real way I know it’s made a difference is that I’m able to fit into my pre-pregnancy jeans, especially considering I haven’t  lost all of the baby weight (only 24 of the 37 pounds I gained).  One question I have about the belt is whether or not wearing it after the 8 weeks makes a difference.

Shrinkx Hips is a comfortable, discreet way to help you get your pre-pregnancy hips back.  For more information, just visit their website.

H2Organics…Nutrient Enhanced Water for Moms and Tots

February 15, 2010

On most days, water is the only beverage I consume.  Several years ago, when I was on a weight loss plan, I learned that I could cut a LOT of calories by sticking to water.  I’m usually pretty good about sticking to water, but I do get tired of it.  And when I’m “over” water, I usually turn to something that’s not great for me.  Drinking water also sets a good example for my son, who would drink juice all day if I allowed it.

H2Organics offers flavorful, nutrient-enhanced waters to give you a healthy alternative to juices and sodas. The company makes “USDA certified organic nutrient enhanced water, containing specially selected blends of prenatal vitamins, minerals and nutrients.”  The waters are low in calories, carbohydrates, sugar, and sodium.  They’re also free from preservatives, artificial flavors or colors.  The company recently launched a line of prenatal and postantal nutrient waters and a kid’s line. The waters are made with multi-filtered reverse osmosis purified water.

The line for moms includes a Prenatal and Postnatal option.  Their Prenatal water (available in Mandarin Orange) contains Folate, Choline, B Vitamins, Zinc, Magnesium, and Selenium.  The key ingredient is folic acid, which helps prevent birth defects and aids in healthy and normal fetal development.  The 20 ounce bottle actually offers 2.5 servings but, realistically, it’s an amount most people could consume in one sitting.  The entire bottle packs 50% of the vitamins/minerals listed above.  It’s important to take that into consideration, since most pregnant women are also taking a prenatal vitamin.  I actually like the Prenatal version better than the Postnatal version.  It’s mildly sweet, unlike other electrolyte enhanced waters which tend to be too sweet. Even if you were to drink the entire bottle, you would only consume 100 calories and 25 grams of sugar (less than juices or soda).

The Postnatal water (available in Lime) contains B Vitamins, Biotin, Zinc, Selenium, and Fenugreek.  Fenugreek is used to increase milk supply and is the key nutrient that distinguishes this water from the Prenatal version.  The nutrients in this water also help to promote healthy glucose levels and maintain healthy digestion.  The caloric, sugar, and sodium content is the same.  I’m not crazy about the Lime flavor and I’d love to see the company develop both versions in additional flavors.  While I think that the waters are a great alternative to juice or soda, I would probably only consume one a day to avoid taking in too many vitamins and minerals.

I find it incredibly difficult to get my son to drink water.  My favorite product from H2Organics‘ line is their Kids’ Nutrient Enhanced Waters.  Each 6.75 ounce serving contains 40 calories, 10 mg of sodium, 10 grams of carbohydrates/sugar, 100% Vitamin C, and 5% Calcium.  They’re available in three flavors (Grape Berry, Strawberry Apple, and Orange Tangerine) and my son drank them the first week we got them.  I only wish the kids’ waters included more vitamins/minerals.

You can find H2Organics at Whole Foods, Toys R Us, and Babies R Us.

Diva Defined by Annette

February 1, 2010

It’s been six weeks and my body is still hanging on to a lot of baby weight.  Unlike so many moms I’ve spoken to, nursing does not help me lose the baby weight.  In fact, it wasn’t until after I stopped nursing my son that I started losing those last stubborn pounds.  I never imagined I’d be excited about wearing shapewear.  But it’s something I won’t leave the house without these days.

Last week I told you about Annette shapewear’s Secret Weapons line.  Diva Defined is another line from the same company, offering women the flexibility of adjustable shapewear (a concept that is new to me).  The line definitely provides more coverage and support than their Secret Weapons line.  The pieces feature hook and eye closures (much like a bra) so you can adjust the amount of control you desire.  Here is a bit more information about the line from the company:

The Diva Defined Collection celebrates the real beauté of the female figure, bringing her confidence and comfort. The revolutionary concept of adjustable shapewear allows users to alter the degree of control to dress fabulous and look flawless day and night! The invisible inner belt is flexible enough to fulfill a Diva’s dreams, customizing her body’s shape to suit her desires.

Diva Defined is comprised of boys shorts, briefs, and camis.  This is the line you will want to wear if you need a decent amount of control (think…little black dress!).  Each piece features an invisible belt with three degrees of control (light to firm).  This line provides more support and keeps everything tucked in a bit better than their Secret Weapons line without being uncomfortable.  The only question I have is whether or not the nylon/lycra blend gets hot in the summer.

I like that the camisoles are supportive enough to be worn without a bra.  The line is seamless so no one has to know how you fit into that little black dress right after having a baby. Overall I like this amount of support when I’m wearing something fitted like a dress.  I think pieces could be used daily, depending on the type of clothing you wear. Pieces from the Diva Defined collection are available for purchase directly on the site and retail for $47-$79.  For more information on the line, check out their video.

All About Mama: Second Base

January 24, 2010

As a mom, I’m very conscious of the clothing I wear.  I’m definitely more modest these days, but I have a lot of items from my younger years that are stylish enough to continue wearing.  Pregnancy and nursing have changed my body in ways I never imagined, which makes dressing modestly a bit of challenge.

One of the fashion tips I held onto during pregnancy and now while I’m nursing, is to layer.  Many companies offer layering attire that will help prolong the amount of time you can wear your “normal” clothes and save you money in the long run (because you don’t have to purchase an entire maternity or nursing wardrobe).  While I did purchase several maternity items during both pregnancies, I limited my purchases of specialty nursing wear (mostly for cost purposes).

Second Base is a company that offers affordable, stylish, and modest demi-camisoles to help give you a bit more coverage.  I have a LOT of tops that looked appropriate before I got pregnant (the first time) but should no longer be worn as they are.  We all know what happens when a woman nurses.  Their demi-camisoles, which come in four different styles, provide just the right coverage without adding bulk or bunching around the waistline.  The product is ingenious.  Rather than layering with full tank tops (which tend to roll up on me), I can wear a lightweight demi-camisole that provides coverage where I need it. Here are some of my favorite features:

a.  The fabric (micro modal / spandex) is thin enough not to be an obvious layering piece while still providing adequate coverage

b.  The demi-camisoles are affordable (RV $29) and come in a variety of colors

c.  They’re comfortable and breathable (Once it’s on, I don’t even notice it’s there).

d.  Some of the styles offer bra-strap coverage while others have thinner straps for wearing with dresses and more formal attire

e.  They can be used with dresses, low cut tops, tank tops, and button down shirts

Second Base’s demi-camisoles come in four different styles:

Sarah: Classic cami silhouette with 1/4″ adjustable straps

Meredith:  Wider straps to cover the bra and a higher back for more modesty

Marlo:  Styled after the men’s tank tops (racer back)

Brittany:  Resembles the Sarah with a 1 3/4″ lace trim at neckline

Whether you need coverage for a fancy dress or a simple tank top, you’ll find that Second Base’s demi-camisoles are ideal for layering without being obvious.  The Meredith and Sarah styles are available in 1X, 2X, and 3X.  The Marlo and Brittany styles are available in sizes 30A to 38 E.  For more information or to purchase a demi-camisole, just visit their website.  Right now you’ll save 20% with the code “ROCKIN”

All About Mama: HOTmilk Lingerie

January 17, 2010

When I was pregnant with both of my children, I remember people telling me that I glowed.  I truly believe that is because I was so happy to be pregnant, (despite the fact that I had some difficulties during both pregnancies) because I didn’t feel beautiful at all.  I mostly felt big and awkward.

Four weeks ago, our baby girl was born…healthy and beautiful and perfect.  And I think that I’m enjoying my postpartum body even less than my pregnant one.  At least when I was pregnant, I had an excuse for the belly and weight gain.  I vowed before I got married not to “let myself go.”   If you’re pregnant or nursing, there are many things you can do to look and feel beautiful, especially in front of your significant other.

HOTmilk offers gorgeous pregnancy lingerie and nursing bras.  When I first saw their collection in person, I had a difficult time believing that the line was created for pregnant and nursing women.  Because apart from the extra fabric in the torso and the nursing straps, you’d never know that the line was designed for this particular population.  HOTmilk originated in New Zealand three years ago and was started by two young moms who’s goal was to empower women to regain their femininity and sensuality.  The company specializes in elegant designs and utilizes the best technology and highest quality laces and details in their collection.

As a woman, I believe that it’s important to feel good about myself…and that includes how I look.  Having a baby is truly the ultimate expression of womanhood.  It IS a beautiful time in a woman’s life, and she should look and feel beautiful.  Since this is the second time I’ve done pregnancy and nursing, I’ve had quite a bit of experience shopping for this time in my life.  And I have to admit that when it comes to beauty and fashion, there aren’t a ton of options.  Nursing bras, in particular, are at best plain.

HOTmilk is definitely a bold maternity and nursing line.  But I am highly impressed with both the quality and designs offered.  And I’d wear most of the pieces offered in their collection because they’re beautiful and tasteful.  In fact, I’ve been sleeping in the Delighted With Her Victory Nursing Nightwear set. The set is very cozy and made from 100% cotton. It’s fashionable, comfortable, and functional.  I really like some of the subtle details like the slight flare the pants have at the bottom and the silk accents (around the ankles and the drawstring on the pants).  The top could be worn both during and after pregnancy since it’s gathered and roomy and has an A-frame shelf for support.

I also received the She Blushes In Delight Lingerie Set.  Stunning…gorgeous…feminine…  Those are just a few words describing this lovely Lingerie Set. The set is comprised of quality laces and fabrics and even includes rose details.  The bra is very supportive (and features an A-frame support and a strong power elastane back), particularly for full-busted women.  The shoulder straps are wide enough to compliment the support the bra provides.  The back adjuster includes six rows of triple eyes to allow for both expansion during pregnancy and slimming afterward. The color and detail are lovely, but the style ensures that the set is functional.

During and after pregnancy, a supportive, well-fitting bra is crucial.  I used to think that meant the bra had to be large and bulky.  My experience with HOTmilk has proved otherwise. Their collection features fresh prints, reminiscent of European styling.  Comfort, ease, and support are all factors that were considered with regards to their bras.  The entire line is free from underwires and each features a one-handed maternity clip. Bras are available in sizes 30A to 42 G and bottoms, in sizes S-XXL.  For more information about where to find HOTmilk lingerie, visit their site.

All About Baby: The Organized Mom

January 11, 2010

Organization is the process of eliminating the excess and finding a place for everything…Stacey Crew

If you ask my husband on any given day what he would really like from me…it’s to be organized.  I have always struggled with organization, and having children has only complicated this.  I am not one to make New Year’s resolutions, but organization is something I’d really like to work on this year.

I love to read, but I don’t have a lot of time these days (hence the fact that you’ll rarely ever see a book review on my site unless it’s a children’s book).  But every now and then, a book comes my way that I have to share with you, because I know you’ll benefit from it as I have.  Stacey Crew, professional organizer and founder of the GOPACK Method, just released her brand new book entitled The Organized Mom.  Whether you’re pregnant with your first baby or an experienced mom, this book is the resource you need to get and stay organized.

I really like Stacey’s perspective on getting organized.  She emphasizes how important it is to take control of the stuff in our lives.  I know when I have a pile of papers or a bin of clothes, I feel overwhelmed.  Well, that is the “stuff” taking over my life.  It makes me feel stressed and out of control.  And being unorganized is a huge time-waster.  But this doesn’t have to continue.  Stacey’s book gives moms an attainable, step-by-step approach to organizing her entire home.

I don’t like clutter, but I can be very sentimental, so I struggle to find a balance with this all of the time.  The GOPACK method (Group Objects, Purge, Assign, Contain, and Keep It Up), is a well-thought out, methodical approach to organization.  Stacey dedicates an entire chapter to achieving results with this method.  I definitely feel like I could apply this method to any room in the house and any organizational project.

Getting rid of items is always the hardest part of organization. Stacey has a list of “easy to toss” items on her website.  Her definition of clutter (indecision + other people’s expectations of us) strikes close to home.  It speaks to my indecisive and people-pleasing nature, and motivates me to take a closer look at the “stuff” in my life.

The book then proceeds to go through organizing the rest of your home including the nursery, bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, office, closets, entryways, and garage.  Stacey tells you exactly what you need and where to put it.  She includes diagrams and checklists so that it’s easy and attainable.  Organization takes time and I appreciate the fact that she acknowledges this.  She also makes a point to talk about the anticipated hurdles and how to get over them.

The second half of the book is focused on how to organize and prepare for your baby’s arrival.  Stacey includes a must-read chapter on babyproofing and a unique chapter on baby’s firsts.  Because, the reason I as a mom want to get organized is to have more time for my children…to enjoy those special moments.

The Organized Mom is available on Amazon.com and retails for $15.96.

All About Baby: Amon Maternity

January 11, 2010

*Updated With Promotion*

I have to admit that when I look at pictures from my pre-pregnancy years, I get a little nostalgic for the days when I didn’t have to worry about bodyshapers. People used to tell me that having a baby changes a woman’s body…but I really had no idea until after my son was born that I may never have a flat tummy again.

It’s been 3 weeks since our baby girl was born.  I’m actually quite surprised at how much my stomach has gone down (although I definitely still look pregnant).  I started wearing a support band in the hospital, and now feel well enough to wear a body shaper.  Thanks to Amon Maternity, I’m wearing their for • give bodyshaper.

My stomach muscles are very weak due to the incision.  Last time it took several weeks for me to be able to do anything with my abdominal muscles.  A bodyshaper really helps provide support to move around easier.  This bodyshaper is different than most that I have tried in that it very much resembles underwear (as opposed to a band that goes around your waist).  I actually like this design because that means it stays put.  The bodyshaper is made from 90% nylon and 10% spandex which provides firm (but comfortable) support.

Because I’ve worn bodyshapers in the past, some of the things I look for include comfort, support, and breathability.  I think this bodyshaper by Amon Maternity does a nice job with all three.  I followed the guidelines for sizing and while I definitely feel like it’s snug going on, it doesn’t feel uncomfortable.  And once I’ve had it on for a bit I really don’t even notice it’s there.  An added bonus is that the fabric is seemless which means nobody has to know that you’re not back to your pre pregnancy size yet wearing a bodyshaper!

When I was pregnant with my son, I had an opportunity to review the company’s maternity band.  Amon Maternity offers supportive, comfortable products for before and after pregnancy.  The for • give bodyshaper retails for $25.00 and is available in black, white, and nude.

Starting tomorrow (Tuesday, January 12th through Friday January 15th), the site is having a sale where you can receive 50% off by entering the code SUPERSALE.

All About Baby: Baby Briefcase

January 4, 2010

I don’t tend to make a lot of New Year’s resolutions, but I have two in mind for this year.  The first is to lose the baby weight for good.  The second?  To get organized!  For some reason I struggle immensely with organization.  Whether it be my fridge, my desk, or my children’s important paperwork, organization for me is a struggle.  And now that we have 2 children, it’s that much more important for me to get and stay organized.

If you’ve had a baby, then you know that there is a lot of paperwork to keep track of.  We left the hospital with a ton of information including her birth certificate and social security paperwork, discharge forms and appointments, and information regarding immunizations, her hearing screen, and the genetic screening test we completed before she was discharged.  I’m not even sure that I covered all of the “forms” we left with that day.  If I didn’t have a place to put all of this paperwork, it would get lost or misplaced.  It is vital to have important forms and medical information in one location.  I know from numerous experiences with a sick little boy, that ready access to this information helps make doctor’s appointments and ER visits manageable.  If I’m disorganized, than things feel chaotic and out of control.

Developed by a mom, The Baby Briefcase is the key to getting and staying organized.  I actually purchased another one for my son because it’s so useful.  The Baby Briefcase comes with 15 plastic folders (6 of which are already labeled for you), a thank you note tracker, and two baby wallet info cards. Everything is neatly packaged in a durable plastic carrying case which fits *most* filing cabinets.  It’s very roomy and makes organizing your child’s paperwork neat and easy.  I like the suggested folder categories that come listed with the briefcase (because it means one less thing to think about).

This is a highly useful product if you use it.  We received it before our baby girl was born and my husband went to get it while I was recovering in the hospital.  From the start we filed her paperwork away in the Baby Briefcase.  If you make it a point to use it, it will save you time, effort, and most importantly keep you organized.  We have to put my son’s paperwork in the Briefcase we bought him, but once it’s organized, everything will be in one place.  We simply bring it with us to doctor’s appointments, etc.

The Baby Briefcase retails for $29.95 and is available online.

All About Baby: The Shower Hug

January 3, 2010

This post contains information about breastfeeding.  If this type of content offends you, you may want to skip to another post.

It is only in the act of nursing that a woman realizes her motherhood in visible and tangible fashion; it is a joy of every moment.  ~Honore de Balzac

I had the privilege of nursing my son to 15 months and am currently nursing our second baby. Last night, I tweeted that all of the worry, stress and fatigue that goes along with raising a newborn fades when I’m nursing our baby.  Nursing is one of the sweetest parts of early parenting.  It can also be challenging…especially in the beginning.  While I have found that nursing our baby girl is easier than it was with our son, it is still just as uncomfortable.

These early weeks while my body is trying to adjust and meet her needs, there is engorgement and soreness to contend with.  It’s been 2 weeks and we’re still not past this stage. I don’t remember getting past this stage until the 2 week mark with my son when he had his first growth spurt.  And throughout those 15 months I dealt with plugged ducts and mastitis on several occasions.

If you’re pregnant or nursing, and suffering from the discomfort of sore breasts, you may be interested in trying The Shower Hug.  One would think that showering offers relief from engorgement and soreness.  But I shower with my back to the water because it’s really uncomfortable, particularly at this stage.  Warm water or not, it hurts.  It seems like a small thing…but showers are meant to be relaxing…they’re meant to make you feel refreshed and rejuvenated.  And since I’ve had a little help the last 2 weeks, I’ve been taking long showers, trying to soak it all in.

I tried The Shower Hug when I got home from the hospital last week.  The first thing I noticed is that it’s super soft.  It’s made from a cotton/polyester blend and it feels almost like terry but softer.  You simply velcro it in place and you get protection from the shower and a bit of support (the material is stretchy).  But protection and support are not the only benefits achieved with The Shower Hug.  If you take a warm shower (like I do) it can act as a warm compress.  It’s very soothing for engorgement.

Despite the name, you can actually use The Shower Hug outside of the shower.  You can use it in place of a bra at night (I haven’t tried this yet but it sounds like a great idea…I’m not one that likes to wear bras at night).  And because the fabric is pretty thick, you don’t have to wear pads (The Shower Hug absorbs leaking).  I haven’t tried this yet, but I read on the site that some women have used The Shower Hug for c-section incision support both in and out of the shower.

Overall, I like the support and comfort provided by The Shower Hug.  The added benefit of multiple uses justifies it’s price of $29.95.  The company  offers Organic option for an additional $10.  Belmama & Cherub also offers burp cloths and wash cloths made of the same, super soft and cozy material.
