More Ways To Save This Holiday Season Published on Friday, November 4, 2011 by

After being out and about this weekend, I’ve noticed that many stores are starting their holiday sales early in the season. While Black Friday is the biggest shopping day leading up to Christmas, I don’t recommend waiting until that time to at least start thinking about what you want to get your friends and family members.

As you may know, Walmart guarantees everyday low prices on everything. Through the store’s Christmas Price Guarantee and Ad Match Guarantee, customers can be sure they truly are receiving the lowest prices this holiday season. Additionally, Walmart recently introduced their new Digital Coupon Site, which allows customers the option of printing coupons at home for use in stores. It’s an easy way to save that much more on your favorite items at Walmart.

While I strive to use coupons whenever I shop (both online and in-stores), I would use them more often if finding them was easy and didn’t require a lot of effort. We don’t get a local newspaper at our home so the only way I am able to locate coupons is to find them online (unless I buy a newspaper). Having a dedicated site where I can go to search for coupons before shopping makes it more likely that I’ll actually use them.

Walmart’s new online coupon site offers coupons in a variety of areas and allows you the option of searching by brand. Once you’ve “clipped” those coupons you’re interested in, simply print them before your shopping trip. If you look at the top left corner of the screen, you’ll see how much you’ll be saving by using those coupons. As an FYI, you’ll need to install the free coupon printer plug-in before you start printing out coupons.

The coupons change regularly, although I’m not certain how often. Be certain to read Walmart’s Coupon Policy if you have questions or concerns about usage.

Disclosure: I participate in the Walmart Moms program and am compensated for my time and honest opinions.
