Disney-Inspired Valentine’s Day Gifts *Giveaway* Published on Friday, February 11, 2011 by

When I was in elementary and junior high school, I had a bit of an obsession with Classic Pooh (my mother can attest to this!).  I would visit our local Disney Store weekly to see what new items hit the shelves.  While I’ve definitely outgrown wearing dresses featuring the adorable bear (yes, you read that correctly), you can still find him scattered throughout our house on picture frames, mugs, and my children’s clothing.  All that to say, I really like The Disney Store. Adults and children alike will find something to fascinate and wow them. This Valentine’s Day, the store is offering an array of themed gift ideas, many of which can be enjoyed by an adult or a child.

My favorite item is the Sweetheart Minnie and Mickey Mouse PJ Pal.  The pajamas, which are designed for girls, feature a scallop-edged neckline accented with a satin bow and heart-print pants.  My son received a Mickey Plush and my daughter received Minnie.  Each features them holding a heart pouch which includes a heart-shaped card.  My son doesn’t actually have a Mickey so he was very excited about this one.  The store also offers a Valentine’s Day Dumbo.

If you’re shopping for an adult, The Disney Store offers a Valentine’s Day Minnie and Mickey Mouse Mug Set featuring heart-shaped handles, a reusable tote bag, and an exclusive Harveys Ruffled Minnie Mouse Tote that I would love to save up for.

Tomorrow, Disney Stores across the country will host a free Valentine’s Day Event.  Children 3 and over can color and decorate a photo frame, complete with Valentine stickers.  For information about the event in your area, including times, contact your local store.
